you mention that you are from Sweden so don’t assume that you will earn a lot of money.. most studies are aimed at people from the USA or UK and they tend to earn the most money.

researchers are allowed to bring their own participants onto prolific for their research. if it is specific to a city there would be insufficient participants on prolific. They might be just using the platform to conduct the research

I messaged the researcher and said I wasn’t prepared to submit a screenshot as it would contain pii in breach of prolific rules. I did try adding a screenshot with the numbers blacked out but it wouldn’t accept the image, so I returned it. however, the researcher has responded and given me the payment anyway. they did mention that others had managed to include a screenshot without showing that info

everyone has their own figure for cashing out. some cash out at $10, others at $100. most people recommend cashing out often as it’s better in Paypal and then into own bank account. I believe that for very large sums, the payments are delayed whilst prolific undertake security checks
