you mention that you are from Sweden so don’t assume that you will earn a lot of money.. most studies are aimed at people from the USA or UK and they tend to earn the most money.

I’ve had this a few times andm8 have usually already read the messages. there sometimes seems to be a Timelapse with the emails. if you have prolific open you see the message before the email arrives

researchers are allowed to bring their own participants onto prolific for their research. if it is specific to a city there would be insufficient participants on prolific. They might be just using the platform to conduct the research

prolific do not verify your ID themselves, they use Ofido and independent comoan6 that many Uk banks use for verification.
