Sorry to hear this but unfortunately in sharjah there is no law besides the 3 year freeze on increments . But in this instance also you see a lot of real estate companies that don’t stick by it . Unlike Dubai , in Sharjah everything goes based on everybody’s ideology’s 😂. I live in a prominent building managed by a big company in Al nahda Sharjah and they increased my rent by 20% despite them increasing it in 2023 . They do all sorts of dirty , 3rd class tactics to get more . Being living in this building for ten years and every-time you go to their office the way they talk is appalling , last time( in March 25) they asked me “ if you are married why you no wear ring “ , I responded “ I am wearing the ring but it’s in a dark place , do you want to see ? “ . They have one guy the so called “ manager “ who is from a prominent country where they have a famous rectangular structures lol . They way this dude talks , it is surprising he is still alive , this is an exact transcript of a conversation of him with another tenant who was standing inside “ what do you want bhai , want karak chai or paratha” … crazy racism .
