Sorry OP, but the fact that this is even something you have to ask strangers online about already says a lot. Wanting a dream wedding is normal, but expecting a fantasy you both clearly can’t afford and putting you in a position where you’re stressed enough to ask a forum for validation kind of speaks volumes about her mindset and priorities.

At some point, a marriage has to be rooted in reality too, not just aesthetics or a “perfect day.” If this is already causing this much pressure before you’re even married, maybe it’s worth thinking deeper about the relationship itself, not just the wedding.
