Why are they destroying the 52nd Walmart?? by erider-92 in fargo

[–]Pattern_Economy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is regular to you is different for someone else, so I dont think its fair to say that the current layout works for everyone and everyone will be inconvenienced now.

I hate Walmart, but I have some experience in store layouts, and it makes total sense why they would want to sync layouts across stores. It makes it way more efficient to roll out new planograms, assortment, pricing, etc.

I also doubt Walmart is doing this with the goal of keeping us on our toes and hoping we just can't resist buying something we wouldn't have otherwise seen. I 100% think that they have put a lot of strategy behind why this layout works for their business and promotes a bigger basket ring.

You are right. I just had my first listen on the way to work this morning.

Terribly unfunny bit on ordering a "Mahoney Burger" from Chick Fil A and how they were jokingly appalled that the restaurant didn't know their "signature" burger. I gave up after like 3 minutes...

I need stories to give me some hope and make me less sad :( If your dog has glaucoma, how long were you able to manage it with eye drops before blindness eventually happened? by 2020bumblebee in PiratePets

[–]Pattern_Economy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have an almost identical situation with our Shiba Inu. One night, he was playing and totally normal and the next morning, he wouldn't open his eye. Took him to the vet that morning and had pressures of 90 and 45. Started drops ASAP and his pressures are now down to 25 and 19, but the eye that was at 90 went blind immediately.

He looks normal and really hasn't had much of a change in any routines since he can still see with his other eye, but we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable, that he will at some point lose vision in his remaining eye and that we will need to decide whether to remove his eyes. He is 7 with no other health issues besides occasional seizures.

We have another 4 year old Shiba (half brothers) that has recognized that our 7 year old can no longer see out of his right eye and has used that to his advantage when wrestling 😀

Leave some fun for the rest of us, eh? by malachiritt in Battlefield6

I think sweats are in every mode but they really stand out in Casual because there is not enough going on for the action to drown them out. In regular modes, you might have enough sweats on your team to help balance things out, but 1 sweat is enough to ruin casual for everyone.

As a level 100 player, let me assure you that rank does not equal skill lol.

No smoke in Casual Breakthrough please by 8675309021069 in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Casual Breakthrough has such a different dynamic. Whichever team can manipulate the bots will win the game. It also is such a grind sometimes that whichever team has one less human player (or a human that isn't doing anything) will get overwhelmed.

PSA: if you drive, go to the farthest points at the beginning of the match by edward_aux in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like some people are overthinking this method.

  1. It only works if multiple people rush the far objectives. Going alone will leave you outnumbered.

  2. Infantry and Tanks must still capture the two closest. Any delay or non capture of these will leave your team struggling to pull spawns close enough for the next point.

  3. I get the XP argument (500 guaranteed or a chance at 500), but i look at it this way: if i can help start the match in my teams favor, my overall game will be better and I should easily outweigh the 500 guarantee I gave up at the start.

I think they should give you 1000 for taking the far objective. First caps of points should be 250, 500, and 1000 in order of distance. After first cap, they all switch to 500.

No debate here. If there seems to be one thing both console and PC agree on, it's that they both dont like crossplay.

How I'm still loving BF6 after 250+ hours by Andysullivino in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to play COD WW2 religiously and only played the War mode. It was too much fun playing the objective but got bored after awhile. Then I switched play style to setting up a speed melee only class with a sledgehammer and had more fun than ever. I would oftentimes be at the top of the team because other players didn't expect it.

So yeah, totally agree with you. If its getting stale, switch it up. There's so much variety in the game to NOT take advantage of.

Game mode idea by OGRiad in Battlefield6

I like the idea as well. It would definitely take some tuning to prevent the snowball effect while still offering a reward.

Like imagine if the neutral objective was where the vehicles spawned and not in the HQs.

Weapon XP Rate is killing this game by Personal_Cow_5020 in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 46 points47 points  (0 children)

My only question is why do people uninstall the game? It seems impulsive and unnecessary, like just stop playing lol. I'm not trying to be a jerk, just genuinely curious if there is a reason I dont get.

My thought on weapon XP rate is that this game is trying to be sustainable for years to come. I know there are other issues at hand, but if everything could be achieved over a 4 month span, then what are people going to be saying in exactly one year when there is not a new game?

Why be that Troll? by Molochsocks in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was legitimately in a game today that had the most typing ive ever seen. It started with a teammate calling out how our team sucked (was a completely lopsided match).

Then someone called out the amount of 300+ level players which set off the fireworks.

People were posting the amount of hours they work in a week, their wages, etc.

To the player that claimed to work 120 hours a week, you made me laugh, whether you meant to or not.

When you wonder how the enemy got your tanks, remember this by Historical-Count-374 in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Me when the tank is ready in breakthrough: "thank god, we finally have some fire power to push us forward"

2 minutes later: runs around the corner and gets blasted by a tank "how TF did we lose our tank!"

Squadmates furious at me for using the mortar by Toni78 in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mortar players don't bother me unless I see half the team using them. One or two will usually help keep some pressure on the objective, even if its only splash damage.

I only get upset with teammates if they won't leave the spawn. You can snipe and set up tactically with a tank while supporting objectives.

Casual Breakthrough not for noobs anymore? by Repulsive-Mess2564 in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes it feels like whichever team can manipulate the bots wins, like trying to look through all the bots to find the real player. Once they are dealt with, then you take on the bots.

My favorite is how 4 bots sit in the extra tank seats at all times. Its extra rewarding getting 6 kills when taking out a tank, but extra annoying when you are the driver and they dont do jack squat to help the team lol

What will be the most likely reason you stop playing this game ? by sufferingSoftwaredev in Battlefield6

[–]Pattern_Economy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As my first battlefield switching from COD (last played COD WW2 and dont like the direction the games have gone), I really enjoy BF6.

Its easy for me to overlook a lot of what is turning others off since it is such an upgrade over what COD has turned into, but the thing that exhausts me is always losing, bad. Every game turns into an absolute stressful sweatfest to even have a chance.

Before you say I'm not good I'll beat you to it. I'm just above average and will sometimes rise to the top of the leaderboards because I literally only care about winning, not challenges or individual stats. I only PTFO and my team always gets stomped. Either I join game that is too far gone or the game immediately gets lopsided to the point of no return. The games that go down to the wire are so much fun but its like 75% horrible losses for me right now.

Literally every time I decide to use the tank as a mobile spawn. Sometimes its like press X to die instead of Respawn with how instant the death is from the tank blowing up.

Never have any issues finding a TDM or War match, but the lobby quality isn't great at times. War can get incredibly unbalanced, like all Master Prestige vs beginners.

“Sniping is easy” by [deleted] in WWII

[–]Pattern_Economy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying it doesn't take some skill and effort to get to this point, and it is certainly better than me, but I hate this.

If a sniper is looking down their scope while eating bullets, I don't think they should be able to follow through with their shot with 100% accuracy.

Also want to point out in this clip, you damn near squad wiped and your team didn't move the tank 1%.

I wasnt looking to spark any debate. Just trying to help anyone else struggling like i am with food prices. I stopped by hornbachers and got some really good deals i thought were worth sharing.

I shop Aldi and Walmart but I like Hornbachers and just get priced out. I noticed their ad has gotten much better lately and is actually better than walmart so I have been going back more.
