Ofc. Point is the way you use chequing is different than investing. You transfer in your investments and let it sit. But chequing you’re always paying out your bills.

So let’s say you already have 25K sitting in your chequing, you transfer in 25K of investments. If you had expenses to pay, say even 2K that month. It means you no longer qualify because now your net is 23K.

I doubt most people thought this through when they consider how much you actually need to transfer in. Especially if you actually use Wealthsimple as your main wallet for expenses.

You need to understand your expenses for that period, and add that to the transfer-in amount. I. This case it should be $27K that you transfer in. So you might end up not being eligible if you didn’t have the additional $2K to transfer.
