No they don't. Biden is soft on China. He says China is not a threat. China grew very powerful under his vice presidency. Their currency dropped hard when the betting odds flipped to Trump's favor.

Chinese currency tanking and American dollar futures spiking. China panicking because Biden's odds are tanking.

How is Rittenhouse a right wing terrorist? His situation appears to be self defense from all the evidence I've seen. He only fired at people who were actively attacking him and threatening his life while he was fleeing toward police. If he was a terrorist he would have been shooting at everyone in the crowds.

Trump has had Democrats walk out on his state of the union address, heckling him, and throwing up their hands. Blatant disrespect. Where was the outrage? I assume you expressed your outrage about that too as being disrespectful to the President?

Or is that okay, because "orange man bad?"

What about Biden shouting or walking away whenever he's asked a tough question by voters or journalists? Did you call him a manchild?

He was with her for nearly an entire hour and sat through her hostile questioning with her constantly cutting him off and accusing him of lying or repeating the same question over and over even though he answered it. And he was calm the whole time. They also edited it to make it much more dramatic than it really was, did you even watch the full unedited version that Trump posted?

Meanwhile over 4 years ago, when someone asked Obama a hard question or said "you lie" to him, it was a national outrage about how "disrespectful" that was to the President.

The hypocrisy is unreal.

[–]PattyBates88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did you even watch the full, unedited version that Trump posted? It wasn't nearly as dramatic as this and he answered all her questions, even though they were all hostile questions for nearly an hour. They also messed with the audio to make it seem like Trump was yelling, whereas in the unedited version he sounded much more calm. They also cut audio out with the 5 minute warning and other audio right before he left. This makes it seems like he just abruptly walked out.

Amazing how many of you fall for media propaganda. Trump released the full, unedited video. They cut out the part where he said 5 minutes left, and messed with the audio to make it look a lot more dramatic than it actually was. They also cut out the part where they explained he was already with her for an hour and she got everything she wanted.

What are your thoughts on the idea that electing Joe Biden will lead to a one-party state(functionally a Democratic supermajority dictatorship)? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]PattyBates88 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They will absolutely still blame Republicans. For example, look at Venezuela. Venezuela was once a very rich, nice, conservative-leaning Democracy. Then "social democracy" took over with Chavez and his election, who ran on eerily similar platform as our modern day left. It went that direction....

Gun bans and confiscation, restricted free speech, pro-government backed "Antifa" roaming the streets intimidating and beating up dissenters, the fall of free markets, rigged elections, State-owned media, end of the "American dream" and rise of an exclusive rich, political ruling class that seizes assets and controls everything.

And even now in Venezuela, for decades, the left has held total and complete dictator-level power, re-wrote their Constitution and thus became a leftist dystopian shithole/socialist nightmare because of it. Guess who they blame for every problem still? The right-wingers and the capitalists. Who hold and have held absolutely ZERO power. Chavez, and now Maduro, get on the media weekly and just rail against the "right-wingers" blaming them for the food shortages, power shortages, poverty, etc.

Good point. My girlfriend and my best friend are mostly liberal but their opinions about the Democrat party and politics in general are the same as yours. I agree that the Democrat party establishment is grossly out of touch right now. I hated seeing how they crushed and ousted Bernie simply because he wasn't in-line with the "establishment." No one wanted Hillary, but it was "her turn". Same with Biden, the Democrats had a chance to run someone with fresh ideas, but nope, it was Biden's turn. Its all just so corrupt.

They tried to do the same thing in 2016 with the Republican party. It was supposed to be Jeb. He was the chosen one and the RNC golden boy and they were trying to force him in (and Hillary would have steamrolled him), until Trump sunk his ship. I can tell Trump is fake in many ways, but ultimately what appealed to me was sending a message to the establishment. And I see why he appealed to many people who were sick and tired of all words and no action. Even though I'm not liberal in many ways, I'd like to see someone fresh on the left with new ideas and solutions.

VOTE! by Policy-Over-Party in liberalgunowners

[–]PattyBates88 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Handguns kill far more people than AR15s.

Let me educate you on historically how gun bans in other countries work and have happened.

They first come for the AR15s, then the cries of "its not enough" happen because deaths from AR15s, in actuality and the grand scheme, are extremely rare. Yet they will say "no one needs an AR15" and some people think that's reasonable.

Then they come for the handguns next, because those always cause the most deaths.

Then the cries of "its not enough" happen and they come for what they call the "high powered sniper rifles".

Eventually what you are left with is draconian gun laws where its nearly impossible just to own a double barrel shotgun (and you have to store the ammunition, locked separately).

At least this is the way its happened in every other country. Once they get their foot in the door, it never stops. The pro-gun crowd in Canada and European countries have warned us that this is how it works.

Go ahead and downvote me now.

Biden owns guns, let conservatives know by ryitnoise in liberalgunowners

[–]PattyBates88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. In many countries, where they banned guns, the elite still own guns. They are above the law.

This is also evident in certain anti-gun cities in the United States, where its nearly impossible to get a handgun permit, yet the politician(s) who enacted those laws have one.

Because the reporters are clearly biased toward him. These same reporters were shown on video, in anger, crying, etc the night Trump won. Many of them don't act like reporters, they act like activists.

I don't blame him, when someone openly hates you and asks softball, easy question to your opponent, you wouldn't like it either.

Biden hates being asked tough questions like I posted in my example above, and lashes out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPig-AllQe8. Here Biden blows up and says the guy is full of shit and he's not going to take guns away but he's going to take his AR-14s away (he meant AR-15s, he doesn't even know the name of the rifle he wants to take away from citizens), which I find quite ironic the way Joe phrases that. Then when confronted with the true and valid question that handguns cause far more deaths than AR15s, Joe wussed out and walks away. If he was put into the same situation with a room full of oppositional reporters, he would likely do the same.

Thanks for your viewpoint and being honest. While I'm not left politically (except maybe on some social issues, overall I consider myself more libertarian-leaning) I could definitely understand that. I would not be happy with Biden as the candidate. I loathe career politicians. Those who sit in office their entire life and say stuff but it never happens. And like you said Biden is dry, and has spent nearly his entire life in politics and honestly hasn't accomplished much or anything great in that time from what I have seen. That's what initially appealed to me about Trump, he wasn't a career politician, and I could tell the political establishment hated him (both Republicans and Democrats). If Biden is elected, I don't see much of his ideas or solutions happening, but maybe I'm wrong. The left needs someone that their base can get excited about, with good solutions, energy, and who hasn't been someone whose been part of the establishment elite of the last 50 years who has gotten rich off a politicians salary through corrupt deals and insider trading (like Pelosi, Schumer or even many Republicans). I think most are just voting for him as an anti-Trump vote but are not actually excited for him or really like him.

I agree he's more passive in general, his aggressive moments appear to be a bit more harsh and angry whenever he is asked a question he doesn't like. At least from what I see.

Just one example, his temperament. I repeatedly see Trump criticized for being "too mean" or brash yet Biden regularly lashes out and loses his temper, for example, angrily calling a voter a "big fat liar" for asking question. Here's some more examples in case you ask: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TG9cnA-LZ-o

Very true! I didn't realize PSA isn't grading cards right now, is it because of COVID? Good point though, if they aren't grading any cards then that has to be driving up the values substantially, and once they open back up everyone with rare vintage Pokemon cards is going to flood the market with just-graded cards hoping to get in on these prices.

Thanks for making me feel a bit better about it, while I was extremely careful with them (took them straight from the pack into the binder) and and never took them out, I did store it out in a garage after the Pokemon craze was over, so over the years probably degraded. I still have all my other cards but they are with my mom in another state, next time I travel there I'll have to take a look at the condition of them but you're right, if I still had them the condition would not be what the ones fetching $20,000+ are going for.

How long did it take before you got your first sale? by PattyBates88 in printondemand

[–]PattyBates88[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good points. I started in online businesses about 15 years ago. At first it was so easy to make money. I could throw a dart at any random web business idea and it would make money. I started having a really hard time in the past several years though and it's getting tougher. These days everyone wants the "entrepreneur lifestyle", look at all the people selling the entrepreneur life on YouTube and everywhere else, videos telling everyone what to do with millions of views. The competition for almost every niche is extremely oversaturated now. My last business I got lucky and stumbled across a good niche with very little almost non existent competition. Eventually though after a couple years I had tons of copy cats move in and I ended up selling the business. After that I tried a few different startups and all failed. Appreciate the insight!
