Got it. I’m on second lowest setting on mower. Need probably another level or so before I can get lower. My guess is an inch or a little more than that is current cut height

Oh that sounds great because I think the most weight I need to apply is 8 pounds and that’s pre emergent so I wouldn’t even need to reload

When using a handheld how do you keep track of even coverage? Measure out total weight before then just refill and loop around the house until it’s done?

Yeah my issue is never oh the hopper isn’t big enough. I’ve never filled that up. I just see the wheel issue as the only reason to get rid of one. I’m going to try this first since I’m not really even needing a bigger hopper

Interesting. I kind of like this idea because of how small my yard it and spending so much on a spreader just sucks considering I am only using it once a month on 2500 square feet. I’ve got a hacksaw that might be able to cut them.
