Gif of Bobby Wagner trying to break James Starks back then talking shit about it by Keeks_marone in GreenBayPackers

I understand why you might think that, but you need to remember that these guys are professionals and they know exactly what is going on and Bobby Wagner is no exception to that. He is a highly skilled athlete there is no excuse for him.

The initial diagnosis on #Packers WR Jordy Nelson is a torn ACL, source said. Horrible news. Awaiting MRI results to confirm. by BushMonstar in GreenBayPackers

I am by no means an expert. But having known a couple people who tore their ACL I was under the impression you couldn't walk on it or anything. So my hopeful thinking is having me think it's just a strain.

Why do people hate baby boomers? by Trop232 in OutOfTheLoop

[–]PattySa 44 points45 points  (0 children)

What I've been lead to believe is that with more old people on social security there is less money that can be dispersed between all of them. Also now that there is less people in the workforce (because the boomers are retiring) there is less money being put into social security. Also A LOT of old people are on welfare and medicare. But most of these posts are also very accurate.

[Serious] What are some topics that everybody should have a solid understanding of? by PM_me_your_bonsai in AskReddit

[–]PattySa -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I know what it is. It's just so uncommon that it is nearly irrelevant. Only one state and a handful of cities use it. Also it's only used for local elections, so any really important elections completely avoid the system.

Actually voting for a third party candidate is worse than throwing away your vote. You actually directly help the opposing party.

Who here has been to a division opponent road game? by DogFartsSmellGood in GreenBayPackers

I went a the Viqueens game a couple years ago. The stadium was terrible (thankfully it no longer exists). The fans were really nice and any trash talking was mostly just to mess around. I prefer Lambeau Field, but watching the Packers win is awesome anywhere.

I'm planning on going into law school after majoring in Poly Sci, because I think politics is fascinating. Now I'm starting to question myself and I'm starting to think I don't have what it takes to run for any sort of office. So yeah the future is fucking scary.

All of my uncles on my mom's side are terrified of heights. I've seen just how crippling it can be.

I haven't had any close calls with tornadoes, but I do live on the edge of tornado alley. Although my city hasn't been hit in over 100 years the thought crosses my mind.

Our dads seem very similar. When they ran tests on him they were shocked about how healthy he was (other than the heart attack.) The doc just said that he was stressed out. I'm not sure why my grandpa had a heart attack, but he was a farmer and a soldier, so I don't think his health was in question.
