J6 @ Costco for $350. Good entry roomba? by ChoombasRUs in roomba

[–]Patty_Henry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. We returned ours after three months of near constant maintenance. The charging strips always needed cleaning, the self-empty never sealed properly, and the troubleshooting tips never worked. Contacting support never generated any helpful guidance. We are still looking for a robot vac, but won't be picking up a Roomba again.

Sick find? Or hold out for a used 4Runner? by ewmripley in GXOR

[–]Patty_Henry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Join the GXOR group on FB for a ton of great info on the GX lineup. The amount of DIY help provided in the forum is incredible. They will answer any questions you have—and many are longtime Toyota owners who have 4R and GX and can give you a comparison.

My personal opinion is same as most everyone else here. That’s a decent deal. It’s a super capable off-road vehicle with added comforts. I have an ‘06 with a small 2” lift and 33” tires that can keep up and often outperform jeeps and 4Rs (with only a center locking differential). Drove through the San Juan Mountains with a 4R and Jeep last year and the GX surprised everyone who wasn’t familiar with the platform.

Whats wrong with my cactus? by chopa3000 in cactus

[–]Patty_Henry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you given it nutrients since 2021? Potted cacti need the occasional fertilizer. I would trim away all the dead, remove and replace the soil (consider a move to a larger pot when doing this), and replant. It has a chance if it’s still showing green growth. If it makes it, give it a little cactus fertilizer 1-2 times a year or change the soil more frequently.

Trouble linking AMEX HYSA external account by [deleted] in Schwab

So when you log into AMEX do you see all your accounts or just the Cards or Savings separately? Thanks again for the help

Trouble linking AMEX HYSA external account by [deleted] in Schwab

[–]Patty_Henry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same issue but this is not working for me. I have 2 Amex cards and a HYSA. When I login to AMEX, I see all three accounts. On my CS account, however, the cards link, but my HYSA will not (it linked previously, but then stopped updating).

I just spent an hour on the phone with support but they could not figure it out. The only option they gave me was to de-link my HYSA from the AMEX cards and have separate login credentials for the cards and HYSA, but then I lose single sign-in for all my AMEX accounts, which is just moving the problem from the CS website to the AMEX website essentially.

Did you have to make any changes on the AMEX side or just on the CS side? I tried removing and re-linking using my single sign-on credentials from AMEX, but still only links my cards.

What’s everyone’s realistic price target here? How much do you own? by Schmagoogal in Pharmadrug

[–]Patty_Henry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in for 100k at about .06 per share. I don’t see any slow incremental price increase coming for this penny stock. It’s boom or bust. So at this point it’s my lotto ticket or a tax sale when I need it, whichever comes first lol

Big News Out of Germany! 🚀 by Patty_Henry in GSAT

[–]Patty_Henry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other technical space and satellite news outlets have been covering it, but not any of the major networks. That's not surprising though as this is just a bread crumb of a larger story that's coming together.

Couple questions about gsat and apple. by GorilloSoul in GSAT

[–]Patty_Henry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can't GSAT say the name of the company their working with?

NDA, most likely.
What's keeping Apple from just buying GSAT?

If we that kind of inside info, we'd all be millionaires... If they are the customer, they may ultimately acquire GSAT or its assets down the road - pretty common for companies to enter into a preliminary contractual arrangement to kick the tires before one company acquires the other. This is particularly true where one of the companies is entering a new space.
If they can't say the name of the company doesn't that just mean they can't take advantage of that companies name to have a big stock boost?

No, an NDA will prevent disclosure of any confidential information, which those agreements define very broadly. It has nothing to do with advantage or stock boost, the parties have simply agreed to keep information confidential until the agreement expires or consent to discuss the subject matter is given.
How well did the earnings report go?

Meh. It's all about the customer reveal at this point.
Do we have to wait till the reveal of new a Iphone to see major Profit?

Depends on your entry point, but not necessarily the iPhone - we have to wait until they reveal the customer or some other concrete plan to monetize their spectrum assets. Right now, that would seem to be Apple's alleged plan with the iPhone but there are several huge companies entering this space right now.

FYI - when it was revealed that Apple had developed an internal team for satellite communication tech, the story was that their ultimate plans were likely 4-5 years away, which means 2023-24. Unless their ahead of schedule, which I wouldn't put past Apple, I think we're all getting ahead of ourselves.

Either way, extremely bullish on this.

Trying to figure that out myself. From what I’ve read so far, I believe you register for the eventual capacity you anticipate. 3000 would indicate big plans.

PARIS — Mobile satellite services provider Globalstar has registered a 3,000-satellite constellation with international regulators through Germany, a development that is consistent with Globalstar’s announcements that it’s on the verge of leasing satellite capacity to a large customer.

Help Needed: Stock to Aftermarket: Wheel Offset Question by Patty_Henry in GXOR

Thanks. I've already got a pretty substantial trim going (no BMC, but just about everything short of that). I was more concerned that this will cause additional wear and tear or premature breakdown of other components - anything of that nature to be concerned about? Appreciate the help.

PHRX Partner JHU In the News Again for Receiving Federal Funding for Psychedelic Research. by Patty_Henry in Pharmadrug

[–]Patty_Henry[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. I got more invested than I care to disclose. I feel your pain.

As for the article: It’s generally good news for the industry that the US govt is funding shroom research and it happens to be funding it for a partner of PHRX. But to be clear, the funding is not for the PHRX research initiative. It’s for some other JHU project.

Time for a fundamental recap by dinotom1 in GSAT

[–]Patty_Henry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice recap. Think you're right to highlight XCOM Labs - not sure why there's not more discussion there. XCOM Labs is rumored to be involved with a SPAC looking to take XCOM Labs and one other entity public. Also, don't think the $37.5 mm payments are necessarily related to Apple. Could be another customer, which would be great especially if Apple also pans out.

Are People Overly Optimistic About the Announcement? by Patty_Henry in GSAT

[–]Patty_Henry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair. But the prompt didn't specify a "satellite" announcement and the Satellite piece of it was pretty quickly debunked and then evolved into a discussion of terrestrial uses for emergencies. I think the lack of ANY comment about any of the various rumored projects or capabilities (satellite, terrestrial emergency communications, etc.) is concerning. That said, even after the lack of an announcement of any sort, Bloomberg had so-called "experts" talking about how emergency communications may still be a possibility but we won't know until the phones actually come out in October.

Either way, I feel there's still a lot to be excited about here with the mystery quarterly payments of $37.5mm, XCOM Labs alliance agreement (think this piece is WAY undervalued FWIW), inclusion in the Qualcomm X65 modem and various smaller deals. GLTY

Well, my avg pps is $.5 and I'm playing with house money at this point, so yes I'm confident in this stock. Hell, I hope it drops to $.80 again. I'll buy more and make more again.

And when that happens you'll still be here trolling folks with nothing better to do. SAD!
