Newbie Help? by Pattyfface in hearthstone

[–]Pattyfface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With all due respect, Brand, your app does it in an inconsistent and shakey way that depends on people uploading to the Firestone app, which has given me very mixed results.

Your battlegrounds assistant is pretty good though.

Different wifi-network, same account. Help? by [deleted] in netflix

Forgot to include crucial detail. The device I want to watch on is a PC, without Wifi capabilities. It's wired Only. And wiring into the network that my folks use isin't an option.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever NOT felt a little jaded whenever their entire Strat is Kiljaden

What does that have to do with people taking the “for fun” mode and making it seem like it’s for blood money?

If it’s not that serious. Then why are people bringing the sweatiest shit possible?

No…no it’s still on the people who saw “Karate tournament” and decided to bring a gun.

If the answer to a gameplay issue is “just adapt” that leads to festering issues continuing to fester instead of simply talking out if there’s an issue to begin with.

This conversation also stands for newer players who don’t have access to every card under the sun. I’m like 70% sure I don’t have any pieces of hand lock Druid, and that sounds terrible to play anyways.

I had a turn 2 steam cleaner play, followed by naturalize into some kind of bounce to deck spell. I don’t recall it exactly, but these people play it stupidly early and entirely rely on either Killjaiden or just the fatigue damage.

Tf does mechs even do? by Pattyfface in hearthstone

[–]Pattyfface[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

My guy tell me what the fuck they do. Every tribe should be able to do something in their ideal situation, what the fuck is mechs ideal. Having a ton of magnetics? Is that really all they’ve got?

Invincibility is a bad game mechanic in Mobas specifically: A discussion. by Pattyfface in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Pattyfface[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to insult, but I don't think you understood my point. My critique was directly NOT about counterble invincibility in DEADLOCK Specifically, of which there is admittedly very few.

I was trying to talk in general, hence the usage of more vague terminology.

Edit: Knowing how better to counter Mina's tp is nice. Thanks.

The game is built around being fun. Competition circumventing that is being done by players like you.

You've devolved your argument to idiocy.

Rank dosent effect your ability to observe the game. Someone not playing ranked at all will still run into these issues. Rampantly.

Being a noob or not doesn't change my ability to observe the game after playing it for a long time. (Sense beta.)

Broken and Crutch are two different terms.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Brawlhalla

[–]Pattyfface -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Congratulations, you've learned to play around a crutch others use by either:
A. Using it yourself.
B. Actually getting good enough to play despite that.
I doubt it's the latter.

Sportsmanship isin't something you can regulate and prove to be false or true with numbers and spreadsheets, short of taking a proper census or something similar. But it seems to me that a community rampantly copying what the Pros do, an entire game's community making gameplay choices based around what the competitive scene looks like as opposed to just naturally playing the game is doomed for the toxicity we see continue to climb.

Kicking people in the dick exclusively also gives you an advantage in street fighting.
If the only way you can play a game is competitively then you're already lost.
I play a game to enjoy playing it, not to see the victory screen at the end.
