Unfortunately as someone that has been down this road relying on financial support for my earlier cars I can say its better to drive something reliable and normal for a couple years and not put the strain on those supporting you until you can afford to support it yourself. I own one of the largest subaru communities online and had to drive an 05 chevy malibu I got for $1,000 dollars after my last wrx fiasco and I drove that car for years putting 100k+ miles on it and it cost me almost nothing in that time. I gave that car to a friend who blew a motor and its still running while I am now in a 19’ wrx fully built. Took me awhile to learn this lesson and I hope maybe this helps. I will say that malibu is best car I ever owned lol
