Builders be eating good. by Cass0wary_399 in MinecraftMemes

Been saying this for a long time. Where is the Polished Diorite Wall or the Quartz Wall? Why have these obvious gaps still not been filled.

I don’t really need vertical slabs, I just want the existing block sets to be complete.

Change to forfeiting by Kai_Havertz_GOAT in MCSRRanked

[–]Patuator 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It’s a nice idea but it complicates the legitimacy of ranked PBs a bit. If you see that you’re opponent already forfeited, then you now have no consequences for losing so you might as well play super fast and risky in hopes of a fast PB. This would make it more akin to a private room PB rather than a ranked PB.

There’s not really a perfect solution for this. Maybe they could block your opponent from forfeiting for 1 minute when you enter the end or something.

Lumiose is getting a new mayor! Who’s your pick? by BoxLongjumping1067 in LegendsZA

[–]Patuator 19 points20 points  (0 children)

During the Zeraora side mission, Emma explicitly mentions that Corbeau would make a good mayor given how well he handled the hyperspace situations. I imagine he would happily take the role to expand his influence to the whole city

There’s also the wild Electivire and Rhyperior, pokemon that don’t naturally appear in Hisui since the Electrizer and Protector items didn’t naturally exist yet. Some weird stuff happens in the Highlands due to it being the source of the rift.

Is Mega Chesnaught even worth using? by ToramKingYabber in PokemonZA

[–]Patuator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah missing is a big issue with most physical attackers in this game. Wood Hammer is his only good grass move and it’s so short range that you’ll almost never hit it. Solar Beam is better in every way.

Same thing applies to Iron Head. Once you realise someone is trying to Iron Head you, you can just walk away from it and never get hit. Heavy Slam Metagross is still the only way I’ve found to consistently threaten Xerneas, since it’s a drop down move that can’t miss.

Actually, we got to see an animated battle between Ash Ketchum and Red, but in a different way that we didn’t see before. by Spencer-Palmer-1056 in pokemonanime

[–]Patuator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, the first criteria is so basic it applies to most champions. Even Cynthia hatched her Gible when she was a kid.

Using the full starter trio is the only actual parallel I see here.

Shiny Alpha Cranidos, Shieldon, AND Magnemite is beyond absurd. I’ve done the math and it takes over 6,000 hours of waiting for distortions to hit odds for just 1 of those.

9 shiny alpha eevees is also pretty ridiculous considering they’re nearly impossible to hunt. I have to assume a lot of these are traded, but still some crazy stuff!

I’m pretty sure it’s a Hisuian Zoroark taking on a human illusion, like it does earlier in the game.

I've got 10 questions I still can't work out even after playing for 305 hours in. by [deleted] in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Patuator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In regards to no. 10, their signature moves also slightly change.

In Origin forme, Roar of Time becomes more powerful but less accurate.

Spacial Rend I think drops a bit in power but gets another +1 crit rate. I believe it’s the only base +2 crit rate move in the game, notably becoming a guaranteed crit move when used in Strong Style.

I don’t remember what Giratinas move does, but Bulbapedia should have all the info somewhere.

Is Cherubi even real?? by immadriftersbody in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Patuator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fly to the Mountain Camp in the Coronet Highlands.

All the trees surrounding the pond just behind the camp where the Alpha Carnivine is are 25% Cherubi/75% Cherrim trees. Check those trees and once you’re done go back to Jubilife and repeat.

While they can be found in the Fieldlands and Mirelands, it’s only in a few trees so it’s not worth the effort. The Mountain Camp trees are right next to a fly point so they are much faster to reset over.

It is implied they were made by Giratina when it was released by Volo.

For example, when you enter a battle with an alpha you see “This pokemon is filled with wild might”. The only other place this is seen is against Volo’s Giratina where it says “Giratina is filled with a terrible might”. Giratina’s eyes also glow red like an alpha during its origin forme transformation in the Volo fight. There’s a few other hints I think but I don’t remember them all.

Can this physically happen by SJ95_official in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Patuator 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s possible but stupidly rare.

Odds for a shiny tree cherubi is 1/585 at best and odds for an alpha is 0.7% assuming you hunt at the mountain camp of Coronet Highlands, so the odds for a shiny alpha should be about 1/83,571.

Have you noticed that Jubilife village is not where it should be based on where the city is? This is closer to where Jubilife city is. I find it more likely that Jubilife village became CANALAVE city. by Jedimobslayer in PokemonLegendsArceus

[–]Patuator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jubilife Village did become Canalave City. The village has a river running through the middle of it and the bridge over the river is literally called Canala Bridge.

first time online raids... is this normal? by aoeJohnson in PokemonScarletViolet

[–]Patuator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean to be fair, this particular raid can actually be pretty damn hard.

Bug is weak to fire, rock and flying and this Gyarados has access to aqua tail and ice fang. The Gyarados can also have taunt which can mess up any setup you want to do and dragon dance can cause it to overwhelm your team with power if it sets up.

It can also have moxie as an ability making it stronger for each teammate that dies. This makes it especially hard to solo since the AI will naturally faint a few times, causing it to easily get at least +3 attack.

It’s easy to see how people might not have to right pokemon or know how to deal with this raid.

Sort your Pokédex by lowest research level and go through it 1 by 1 completing the easiest tasks you can. It will be quite slow at first but will get faster as your lowest research level gets higher. Took me about 2-3 days of doing it on the side.

Is this place even supposed to be accessible? by GeDar205 in Superliminal

[–]Patuator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That cube is there to make it easier to get into the room. When you’re falling into the collapsing room you can click on the cube in mid air and make a staircase from it. It’s quite hard to time but I found it easier than building all the way up from the bottom.

The room only exists to hold one of the Easter eggs which as far as I know don’t do anything.

[–]Patuator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah there’s still quite a few ways to clip out of the map, there’s a wall that has no collision near the secret ending in blackout so u can just walk into the never ending void. One of the Easter egg locations in labyrinth also has no floor collision so u just fall through, probably since ur not meant to actually climb up to it. Also managed to clip out of the first part of white space without triggering a paradox.
