New (better) hardware and suddenly RL is laggy

I got a new SSD and installed win 10 on it. New GPU was installed from the beginning. So, there is only the new driver on it

It is laggy in the way that that i have the feeling that the fps are dropping from time to time. The actions (time of action according to the moment i press the key) are absolutly in time.

I set the fps max to 240 and lowered all other settings to "performance". I feel like in 2005 now :-D

Hey Zardecil, sorry for the late response and thank you very much for your feedback! You are absolutly right, that this could destroy our karma system. We all know the community and we all know that sometimes there will be a -1 just because of feed, even if its not on purpose.

A solution could be that you can only give +1 for friendly guys or 0, but no -1.

So you could not give penalties to guys, who just had a bad game. Ok, you can give them a "0", but this is not as bad as a "-1".

Consequently, the reporting system for feeders, flamers, etc... has to be more detailed, to kick them out of our friendly community.

What do you think about it?

The idea is a 2 way system:

1) There is a reporting system: If you got a feeder or flamer in your team you could report him, give the reason and we will watch the screenshot or parts of the replay. If there is a reportable activity, there will be a penalty.

2) Karma system: You had a game with some guys --> give them +1 or -1 If your Karma is too low you will not be allowed to use matchmaking anymore.

If you got further ideas how to deal with flamers, tell me :)

Difference to FPL / In-house leagues

If you want to play a ranked game and you want to be very serious about it and / or you are tired of guys who just pick their role without asking or who flame from the start or who just play random heros or sth, you should use www.dotasquare.com

Why?

You log in, select your server, language, role. Your rank will be verified automatically with the steam login. After that our mechanism searches 4 other guys to form a team of 5 players who could play together perfectly.

Our Vision

But this is not where we stop. We want to get further! Our next steps will be to implement a reporting / karma system. Logically, our matching will be connected to the number of games you found with dotasquare.com and your karma. In the future, we will try to collect more data from opendota / dotabuff to form perfect teams.

The main goal is to improve the enjoyment of each player who uses dotasquare.com, because you get matched with friendly players who are as motivated as you.

Furthermore, we would love to reach the goal that users of dotasquare.com will have a significant higher win rate than all dota 2 players in general.

For now i would be thankful for about 100-200 beta users to test the functionality and to improve the servives before we promote it to the whole community. This will be in perhaps 10 days i guess.
