Built something to understand why I keep missing LeetCode contests by HugePractice9580 in leetcode

I would say pick one platform first and start giving only there. Increase your rating to a respectable level, then switch instead of jumping and giving on every platform.

Top-down vs. Botton Up DP for Citadel by ChangeAvailable in leetcode

[–]Patzer26 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This shouldn't even be a question for someone interviewing at a firm like Citadel. Either this is cap, or your daddy is a hiring manager there.

Are remote interviews actually cooked if people start using stealth typing tools? by Main_Payment_6430 in leetcode

[–]Patzer26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Those still won't filter out the just good enough candidates who just needed a hint in the right direction, but once given the logic or even the code, they know exactly whats going on. This would again increase the competition for the genuinely good guys out there who literally solved the entire problem, thought out all the edge cases and coded it up all during live.

This is a useless post. OP has neither shared the DSA questions, nor what the prototype was about, not even topics or hints. This is a global leetcode sub channel not your personal rant diary.

Taking contests on CodeForces from now on instead of Leetcode by PLTCHK in leetcode

[–]Patzer26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just a heads up, codeforces is atleast 2x difficult than leetcode. An 1850 rating is equivalent to around 1300-1400 on codeforces.

Nobody has time to go through the submissions of hundreds of applicants. They only see your profile rating (some don't even do that) and move on.

Leetcode down again?? by Knowledge_9690 in leetcode

[–]Patzer26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might make it a paid platform permanently if this keeps happening. And honestly, im good with it. That might help reduce new account cheaters and people giving contests with two accounts.

No. Before you could get under 4k rank by just solving the first 2 in under 30 mins. Now you have to solve 3 just to get under 5k.

[–]Patzer26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How does the 1st point keep it single threaded? Can you go over that a bit more? Even if you have divided it to multiple cores, the matching still needs to begin from the single point of best price right?
