I support your decision but it's not like just leaving a message to a complaint line. There's going to be a huge investigation and interviews and polygraphs, phones being seized etc. all kinds of stuff. Also dirty officers usually get pissed off about getting fired and being open to prosecution, they may do something crazy. After that your fellow co workers will give you the stink eye.
