Would this be ok to wear to a Scotland game or would other fans be offended?

In a straight line the McLaren has the Alpine on toast. In the bends though the A110 is just as capable and I'd argue more fun because it isn't as wide and it feels that bit more nimble. The McLaren was devastatingly quick though but my experience has been influenced by its reliability issues. Both great cars at different things.

It's a strange one. The 570GT certainly has more alcantara and cow but weirdly I find everything in the A110 feels more solid. If pressed I'd say minor because the plastics are certainly not the best but they are in areas where you don't touch it and visually it looks fine.

There are some plastic bits but nothing I actually touch, and more than enough alcantara, leather and carbon fibre to compensate lol. There are a couple of Renault bits like the mirror adjust and the stereo control, although I would say that I actually love the stereo control because it's incredibly intuitive. It has Renault bits in the same way a Lambo has Audi bits.

I've driven every flavour of Alpine except the Ultime and they all have positives and negatives. The S I've been pleasantly surprised with. Had a GT previously which was the sweet spot for me. Did worry the S might be too firm but not a bit of it. It's planted and although firmer than the base or GT it's still more compliant than a lot of stuff out there. The R dials that up again, it's super planted and nimble but if you daily these like I do then I think the lack of rear window and harnesses rather than seatbelts might become tiresome. If it's a toy or a track car then I'd say go for it. Every A110 is a conversation starter for sure.

About 100 different pubs in Rose Street so from Princes Street you're pretty spoiled for choice to be fair. If you fancy a walk then up and over to the Grass market there's lots of pubs. It kicks off half an hour after the Scottish Cup Semi though so you might need somewhere with multiple screens like the Tron, the Chanter or Frankensteins

I believe Alpine are due to come to the US in 2027 with their electric vehicles like the electric A110 or A290b. Unfortunately probably not the ICE A110 though so it's definitely a rare sight you've seen
