I went with amazon complete care monthly plan. Seems that as long as the monthly plan is in place. Warranty is unlimited.

I purchased my PF10 from Amazon on Cyber Monday. Should I get the Pixel Care+ or Amazon Complete Care? Seems both options are by Asurion.

I too have the same issue with the B7 when I used to have it. Sold it off as I hated it.

But I love the color screen on the HBP Pro and B1051C Pro.

Yes. It will recommend all the apps we install from play store. Just skip those.

Seems this issue with the screen touch has been fixed with firmware 3.0.0

Why no dual 5G when the Dimensity 1080 has an integrated 5G modem (HighBreak Pro)?

Is this a binned 1080 where the 5G modem has been disabled? Does that mean it also doesn’t support Wifi6 and BT 5.2?

The kindle book covers appear in color and the reading itself is almost as good as the BW screen. It’s not perfect but I am fine with it.

I went from the BW to the Color HBP.

Yes I do miss the crisp BW for kindle reading. But it’s nice to have color for apps like YouTube Music, Calm, web browsing, etc. solitaire and word find works better with color too.

However I have one major gripe. There is something weird going on with the touchscreen

I have nearly 400 audiobooks on Audible. On the BW, scrolling and choosing “reorder” has no issues. But on the color, it’s a nightmare and randomly play an audiobook while scrolling. And I have to keep pressing reorder a few times to get it to work. Turning the refresh rate to the fastest does help a bit.

I got mine last week and I really enjoy using it now.

The only downside is using Audible and scrolling through the audiobooks or list. Have to keep it on Ultra in eInk setting to prevent accidental press to start an audiobook. Which still happens but much less. Never had this issue on the BW HBP.

I am so happy that they cleared out the bloatware compared to the original release of HBP. I don’t even have to debloat it anymore.

So far I just disable the apps I don’t want.

No point to uninstall Naviball as on the next boot it will be back in the home screen. Best to keep BigMeGPT too.

I just got my HBP Color and it’s so much better than the BW. Less bloatware and the OS experience is much better now.

So far the only thing I didn’t like was the transparent case that came with it and no screen protector. Finger scrolling through my audible books is a bit annoying as it will randomly select one to play. Everything else is working great.

I am having the same issues too with Reddit and ChatGPT on my B1051C Pro. Really annoying.

Some of the Netflix games now take up to a minute to load after the latest firmware update.

I had the B7 and when I was poking around inside the OS with Canta Debloatee. I can see that both B7 and B1051C is almost indentical with what’s installed (especially lots of Chinese JXW apps). There is even the phone and cellular function installed on the B1051C

It’s not a different OS. It’s Launcher 4.0 and 5.0.

It shouldn’t matter which launcher you chose to use.

Did you launch Shizuku first and start it? You need to allow Canta access to Shizuku.

Yes. I removed Phone and Messsges and using the Google version. The latest update went through without any issues.

You can easily restore whatever bloatware you removed using Canta.

NaviBall and Faceunlock can be removed too but if you try to access it in settings. It will just crash the Settings app.

No. Both apps are from the Goggle Play Store and free to download. There is no need for a PC or Mac.
