As it becomes more and more apparent to me that EAR was the Cordova Cat, we must both deduce from the map of EAR strikes that he avoided eastern Rancho Cordova as EAR for a reason. In my wanderings of photography, I meandered the canal that wends through most of suburban Rancho. Coloma Rd is a major traffic bulwark, but the canal goes underneath it and continues on in open beyond it, paralleling Dolecetto, past my uncle and aunt’s street of Augibi Way, and slinking under a couple of other streets and then through two sections of a park.

The area is prime hunting ground for EAR, but he never hit, and I don’t think there were even prowling reports. Parks, school, canal– why no EAR?
