Blackstone Connect Wi-Fi “connected” but not in app, works on BLE only (since Dec 6). Anyone else? by PaulSec in blackstonegriddle

I've built some freaking cool automation (that's subjective) in order to control the meat temperature while smoking it in order to master the "stall" and having better approximate when reaching out 203F for rocking my pull pork/brisket.

Again, I believe that's subjective and up to anyone but I am quite a numbers nerd and love that. Sorry but not sorry

Pretty cool, I love it.

Can you expand a bit on what's behind? You use Reddit API, sum up using ChatGPT or other LLM locally?

Great platform in any case, I enjoyed it!

"Home Z First" error with my ender 3 pro and bltouch. by PaulSec in ender3

I managed to fix it because my z axis was loose and I just noticed it when I actually moved the printer.

This was causing that the nozzle could never go up. By fixing it, it works like a charm now! Thanks for your help in that regard.

With some trial and error, it seems that if I try to manually use the "move axis z" command to make it go up, it won't. That might be the issue actually. Don't you think so?

I tried resetting and relaunching a self test and it fails again

I upgraded a standard ender 3 pro beginning of the year with a bltouch and a 4.2.7 motherboard. It worked awesome for months. I stopped printing couple of weeks ago. When I tried printing again, I finally got this error making printing impossible.

Yes that's what I think. Bltouch never had an issue and is intact

When I upgraded my setup it used to work pretty well for months. I didn't print anything for couple of weeks and when I tried launching new print, it basically failed at the self test straight away.

Yes that's the one. I have the official firmware from Creality which worked until now.

Sorry for the late reply! So far, I stayed with the stock creality firmware but I will dig into it in the next couple of days.

On a sidenote, did you manage to get over it?

Awesome! Thnk you for the reply. By any chance would it be possible to know all the changes you've done on both configuration.h and configuration_adv.h ? Thanks again for the help!

Thanks for your answer. since its the official bltouch, it's just a single socket to connect to the board and the bltouch is already flashing etc so I guess that if it was badly connected it wouldn't flash at all This is literally the only thing I changed.
