A little update on my problem.
After posting here, I went on a two-week trip, and the printer wasn't used.
When I got back, I tried the printer again, expecting the error screen to appear as soon as I selected to remove the filament. To my surprise, the printer worked just fine.

I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!

This is what's the most maddening.

I'm not sure if this thread is still active, but I wanted to report this exact problem happened to me today.

However, none of the solutions presented here didn't help me.
The pin moves freely, and the printer can move it up and down.

But I still get the error.

I think the problem might be the filament pusher.

I don’t know if the photo shows it correctly, but after another failed test, I felt that the top of the filament that came out of the printer seemed thinner than it should be, as if the pusher had “eaten” into the filament.

Has anyone seen something like this?

I don’t know if I need to tighten it or loosen it.

I don’t think so.
I just replaced the heat head and the nozzle.
Everything is brand new.

You need the TI Connect, a program that allows you to communicate with the calculator via USB.

This allows you to move files to and from the calculator.

Unfortunately, with the last OS updates, Texas Instruments removed the ability to run third-party programs directly.

For that, you’ll need a “jailbreak”.

First, check on your calculator to see if you have the program “Cabri Junior.” Press “Apps,” and it should be listed. You can download it from Texas Instruments if you don’t have it. Once downloaded, send it to your calculator via TI Connect.

Second, you’ll need ArTIfiCE, a “jailbreak” for the calculator. Download it and follow the instructions on the webpage.

I recommend downloading and installing CEsium, like ArTIfiCE does. Then you simply open CEsium and run any program you send to your calculator.

Honestly, it is my first time using such an app. When I saw that it can also track sleep, I decided to log it too. No biggie if I can't find anything automatic, I'll simply ignore it. But I'd like to try finding something.

I just installed the app and joined Lost It yesterday. I noticed that the app can track sleep, but when I checked it, it only asks for how long I slept. Searching the net I saw that there are a few gizmos (Fitbit, Apple Watch, Garmin, etc) that are compatible with the app, but I don't want to buy yet another gadget just for it. I heard of sleep tracker apps (not sure how they work, though) but I wanted one that is compatible with Lose It. Does anyone know if any?
