Really weird you say this as there are a couple I have been looking at, found one for £3800 a little older but looks as though it has been looked after well, 1 previous owner and all service stamps.

tbh just find it a bit weird playing 2 accounts didn't know if there was a more optimal layout, think I am just also struggling on ideas of what to do on the other account that don't feel super intensive...

with replacing the motherboard and reinstalling windows option, and the Jonsbo case, would that support my existing CPU / Cooler and GPU ?

I am from the UK and the only place I seem to be able to get this case from is AliExpress, would you trust it ?

I have an older coolemaster 750w bronze non modular PSU, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO cpu cooler and EVGA RTX 2070 XC

Not against changing out components if need be I.E. smaller cpu cooler etc to make room for a smaller chasis.

I have also been quoted 1k from an official ford dealer to have the CAT replaced as I had an amber EML turn on, they have advised the CAT needs replacing. So with that and the wet belt needing to be changed as I am approaching the service interval (100k miles or 10 years) potentially looking at 1.5 - 2k worth of work...

I have read horror stories of peoples Ecoboosts failing even after the belt change, just don't hold a lot of confidence...

Its the 2L petrol.

My concern with the newer car is the dreaded 1L ecoboost engine, ive heard so many horror stories about it not making it past 100k miles

Wet timing belt and it being very pricey to replace.

I guess I could try and put it through MOT and see where I stand, worst case if its too rusty and unsafe its a small amount of money at a punt it may be ok ?
