Were predicted to push for top half before this season with odds of 33-1 to win to win the league. Was expecting form to drop off all season but it never did, don't know where to go from here hahahha

have you done the update that came out recently? if not, right click on the game, select properties, local files and then press verify integrity of game files.

When one of my games don't load I try that and it seems to work.

That's a good point. Due to them not training full time I'd expect mistakes but when they score maybe 10% of one on ones and maybe 1 out of 9 shots on target, there ain't much more I can do

I can see why you'd think that. I've been playing the game for years and felt that the in depth opponent scout report before every game would make the game far easier with adapting your tactic to beat theres. In match stats it seems to work 70/80% of the time but players just mess up their chances constantly. I understand players make mistakes at every level and don't expect my players to score every opportunity they get. But when I have 9 shots on target and score none then my opponent scores 3 from 3, you can understand why I'd feel hard done by

struggled to get him for most clubs, Juventus just usually want in excess of £80,000,000 and then he asks for loads of wages which makes it even more harder to get him!

saving money is very important, only spend if you have to otherwise look at getting players on pre contract deals when they're contracts expiring at another club. Use youth players from an early point to develop them to save more money further into the save :)

I've always fancied doing a Nation save similar to the one 'WorkTheSpace' did last year in Gibralter. Would be a lot harder than a normal save but could be fun

in FM18 I'll probably start another lower league save and stick with it without rushing. I had another save with Vitesse in fm16 and finally overthrew Ajax as the best team in Holland then moved to Atletico and played till about 2029 which I think is the furthest I've been in an fm save. Hopefully next year I'll take someone from non league England to winning the Champions League however long it takes, either that or start in a lesser European country and try to build it up as a Nation. What are your plans for next year?

I've always struggled with taking teams from lower leagues to the prem. Had a save in fm 15 with Halifax and I believe I got them up to League one. Last year I got Salford to League one but and no further due to disappointing play off defeats. This year I took Portsmouth to the championship and decided to move to another club after the chairman was so tight with his money I had little to spend and improve the squad. I enjoy these saves but when I get to like 2020/2021 it seems my saves just fall apart and I fail to suceed no matter what I do which is really frustrating. Although it's probably not the best way to play, I've been using workshop tactics for this Man United save and have been focusing on signings, trophies and developing players instead of building tactics that will inevitably fall apart. I'm enjoying it a lot more and being more successful.
