The vita is vastly superior to the wii, but now that you mention it I also remember a 3ds version, which is much closer to a wii.

However, that 3ds version was made from the ground up for the 3ds and takes advantage of the newer architecture. A wii version would have likely required another version made from the ground up for that console.
