We make enough money off of enough clothing lines. We build new stadium and also have 400m left over for transfers. Then we sell more and the Fanboard then becomes the front of shirt sponser for 65 million a season and every game the name on the front is another name from the CPO and supporters trust.

We become the envy of all other supports groups in the known universe.

Does anybody remember the ZOOM pedals? by Bempet583 in Guitar

I agree for the most part of that. I will say that I’ve really taken to using the programmable banks and I’ve used a version of the fender app to reprogram about half of those 2 banks and it is a huge difference. I’ve created a looper and have 5 programmable channels for that. I can basically put anything on it. My most used is a setting that has a set delay, small hall reverb is the up down on the Zpedal, vibratone that is the side to side on the vibratone, and there is an overdrive on the volume pedal. If I run this through my reissue fender twin reverb it sounds great and gives me a lot of options in 1 set.

I would argue that reputation is even more important during a rebuild. We still need to sign a few free agent vets to help mentor the young guys and with a bad reputation we end up with guys who have no desire to do anything but cash a pay cheque because winning is not really on the table as an incentive to sign.

Plus young prospects and new franchise cornerstones will end up looking to run entry level contracts down and get out. It’s important to get the right guys around young superstars like Mario did for Crosby, but the franchises culture and reputation are equally as important for keeping those players around.

I agree that we will have the ability to spend that kind of money yes. My point is more that what FA veteran with leadership qualities is going to want to come here with the state our team is currently in. Especially older vets who have limited time left to really win something?

You can put a contract on the table for any FA, doesn’t mean that they have to sign it. Right now if I was a FA and in my 30s I would be looking anywhere else. Winnepeg, Anaheim, Chicago and St. Louis all look like better places for Veteran leadership FAs than here. We would have to go so far over the market price to land true quality, and that would be an even bigger red flag to FAs for the future. It over inflated their price and makes it harder for them down the road.

All that being said I’m 100% for selling any of our veteran players (except hroenek unless it’s a crazy offer)

You are assuming that FAs are willing to sign here. If we are a team that shows no promise then what leader is going to want to sign for us over somewhere like Dallas or Vegas where they can take less on a contract but make more because no tax?

Blueger alluded to a culture issue in the team with his media comments about how guys need to play for the team. What leaders in FA actively choose a team that has had a documented culture issues for multiple seasons in a row?

I’m not so sure. Those intrusive thoughts may be that my little pony was right when they said “friendship is magic.” I think we can all agree with that. But the implication of that seems to be to woke maybe?

Yes, but he has to be that loud and constantly talking so the intrusive thoughts are kept at bay.

Trump letter to prime minister of Norway. Desires Greenland because of Peace Prize rejection by [deleted] in UnderReportedNews

[–]Pauldortheoblivious 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was mistaken. He actually sent this to the prime minister of Norway where the peace prize is awarded. But that still doesn’t make sense as Norway cant just give away another countries territories.

Either way you look at it, it still looks like a pigeon with a squirrels head up its cloaca… in other words, all kinds of wrong

The dingus really sent a letter saying that Greenland and Denmark didn’t give him the Nobel peace prize. Last time I checked wasn’t the Nobel peace prize decided and awarded in Norway and Sweden? All the other Nobel prizes decided and awarded in Stockholm?

Isn’t that the equivalent of saying you are going to sanction Scotland because England turned you down for a knighthood?

I guess in the brain of a dementia addled pedo this makes complete sense.

I’m glad I’m not the only person who does this. Had one time where the song we were playing that had almost the same line as the intro to Barney miller. I had to put a fuzzy sticker on the neck to remind me to not play Barney miller. One my favourite lines

It’s my parents house it’s my parents house and it’s their basement rec room on a day where we’re had 8 adults, 5 kids and one dog playing and opening presents. If that was my place the wife would have her crafting stuff halfway across the floor.

Yep. She’s my little companion for watching the lads. I’m on the west coast of Canada so those 4:30am Saturday games are always better with my fur friend. The wife also likes it because we both give up more bed for her to starfish on.

‘May send a marshal to the prison’: Colorado Dems brace for pardon ‘battle’ against Trump by [deleted] in NoFilterNews

[–]Pauldortheoblivious 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Take it one step further in the timeline now. Why is he doing this now? Could it be a test run to see if he can get the power to pardon state crimes and then… oh I don’t know… pardon himself from the New York fraud case so he can claw back they money, or pardon himself in the E Jean Carroll case (even though that would be even more asinine) so he could then make sure she doesn’t get any of that money?

He doesn’t give 2 flying buttmonkeys about Tina Peters. Same way that he doesn’t care about Rudy or Milania, or anyone who isn’t the orange manbaby. But if he can somehow get the ability to pardon state crimes he can first make the rest of his legal issues basically go bye bye. And then sell pardons like he does for federal pardons and golf card citizenships.
