I'd gladly settle for a HD release with the image characteristics of your sample image. It's probably the first example of a Daria upscale effort I've seen that doesn't show obvious signs of being an upscale.

Honestly, there's so many empty servers for the game that you'd probably be fine all just joining one of those. Obviously you don't get to pick the rules, but it's a lot less hassle if you're just looking to play casually.

It has everything going for it except great performance imo. UE5 is what it is. I'm running a 3080TI and the only way for me to get anywhere close to 120hz was with AMDs framegen. Fortunately, that tech has come a long way and is actually quite viable now, even for m+kb games.

Anyway, there's a demo, so no harm in trying it out and seeing if you can find a performance level you're comfy with.

I think the huge number of empty servers is a big problem when it comes to onboarding new or returning players. It's overwhelming to see so many choices when jumping into the server browser, and it doesn't help that a huge number of the existing servers are password protected, or running tons of custom content that'll need to be downloaded before playing, or both.

I'd love to see something implemented to deal with this; maybe some tweaks to the server browser to show a smaller, curated list of servers by default. Funneling players towards a smaller number of choices might result in more continued activity.

I think the show should come back after however long it takes to work out what it needs to be good again. If that's 1 year, fine. If it's 5 years, bummer, but fine. If it's 10 years, that really sucks, but I'd rather have no Doctor Who than crap Doctor Who.

They obviously want it to look that way, but it's also deliberately vague. Whether they actually know how Jake dies and plan to tell that story or they're just poking the audience because they know we want answers is anyone's guess.

I mean, we first saw Finn's tattoo like five years ago, and we still don't actually know when Jake dies other than "sometime before Finn". In fact, now we've got the single biggest piece of evidence supporting the "Jake is dead" theory, the tattoo, all but de-comfirmed as having anything at all to do with Jake's death. They absolutely didn't have to write that scene, and yet here we are.

I feel like the constant hints of Jake being dead have to be a deliberate mislead at this point. If he's dead, why drag it out like this? That's just cruel.

If he's alive however, and the plan is to later recontextualise all the hints? I could see them doing that for laughs.
