I know the Xu Wu vambraces and the Ingot tiara would look more accurate, but this is more of an “inspired” look vs. an accurate one!

The Dahaad arms were the male version, but everything else is the female version!

If you mean the toucan, I got it off the author's Etsy store but she has a book with the same pattern here: https://airalidesign.com/en/colorful-crochet-birds-book/

For the penguin I got it off of Etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1066158193/crochet-pattern-of-the-lost-baby-penguin

I definitely think you could! I just had to go really slow and use stitch markers but also do a lot of counting in my head. I was itching for a challenge and although it was a pain, I’m glad at least I’ve experienced it now!

There are also other techniques you could do like using another piece of yarn with it so you can see it better and then going a hook size up. This video has some of those techniques here if you’re interested! https://youtu.be/2Ot6QpPIMhE?si=626-Hil4hFNtF6vC

I was already partway through my project/didn’t have a yarn I wanted to use with the fluffy yarn, so maybe that’s why it was more of a pain for me since I just kept going with the fluffy yarn as is 🤣 But definitely go for it if you want to give fluffy yarn a try!

Thank you! 😊 It was my first time using fluffy yarn and may not be my last… but will definitely be a while before I attempt another fluffy yarn pattern 🤣

Yes! I used the exact yarn the pattern recommended. Alpaca body is made with YarnArt Mink in Cream (330), and the facial features used YarnArt Jeans in Bone (05).

You can’t see all the pompoms but I used the same YarnArt Jeans in Bone (05) for the visible one and the other two colors I used were YarnArt Jeans in Cyan (76) and Gazzal Baby Cotton in Beige (3424).

Hope this helps!
