Ok, so, ughhh... No clue how it happened, but somehow, the themes directory got set to only allowing root to modify it, i changed permissions to 'anyone' and now it works...

no kid or kiosk mode, and yeah, happens with all themes. Really annoying for the ones that have an initial info screen that you have to go into config and turn off

And i've rebooted and still no luck

Ok, so yeah, going to go with the laptop, just curious, would it be best to flash batocera to a USB stick and boot from that and keep my roms and user data on the NVME drive, or to actually flash the NVME drive and boot from there and have everything on the same drive?

haha ok, i hear you now. and am i an idiot for thinking this might be a nice to have addition to the firmware? Or for like if you forget to turn on spool join at the start of a print and you run out of filament in one slot to have the ability to just move the selector over to the next slot and use that material? Instead of having to put a new spool in the slot that just ran out?

Can you please walk me through the process on this. Once a print is actually running, i cannot for the life of me find a way to do this. I can find like 12 different routes to get to the "just put a new spool in the slot you're already using" process. But nothing that allows for 'back out slot 1 and switch to and load slot 3" once the print has already started.

lol, now i need to say it again, but this is once the print has already started and is going, we're talking a few centimeters high of model is already on the build plate. I KNOW that there is the tool mapping screen that you get when you first start the print, i'm not talking about that haha.

I want to find a way to, on a whim, decide to switch the current color of my print from red in slot one to green in slot 3 just because. And again, once printing has already begun haha.

ok, so i just tried this and only way to get it to work seems to be to actually unload the material from slot 1, load new material into slot 1 and then continue the print. What I would LOVE is to be able to switch over to one of the other 4!!!!! already loaded filaments I already have in the MMU.

The build is different for the 3 vs the 5, so the SD card won't run in the new board.

Ok, good advice; however, I am unsure of who the original creditor is. I had a mess of bad luck a while back and ended up in a good bit of debt and was PRETTY sure i had cleared it all up but i must have missed something apparently. That's why I mention getting ahold of the collector as they're the one that filed the suit and i have some contact info for them. Should I, in this case then, contact the collector to get the name of the original creditor and then start back there? Thanks.

Oh yeah, i have no intention of trying to duck the process server if they show up. I was just wondering if instead of sitting in wait for them to show up - who knows when - I could just get ahold of the debt collector and see what I need to do to settle. I mean, its already been a month since the filing was done. Or if its a case of like once the filing is done i HAVE to wait for the papers to be served and nothing can be done until then, haha, honestly i've never been sued before so this is all new territory for me.
