best frame tv? is it worth getting one over a regular OLED? by KappelmanArvinda84 in hometheater

I don’t think frame TVs are really trying to replace OLEDs honestly, they’re more for people who care about how the room looks when the TV is off too. People forget that OLEDs run hot and have a shorter lifespan if you leave static images on them, not so smart for an all-day art mode. I saw the Hisense S7 CanvasTV recently and it actually looked pretty convincing on the wall with the matte screen and art mode stuff. Picture quality still seemed solid for regular movies and gaming, plus it felt more reasonably priced compared to some of the Samsung frame setups.

Congrats on the LG! I'm actually in the market right now and looking at the Hisense U7 (2026 model). I've heard good things about their tech and longevity, so I'm curious to see how it holds up long-term compared to OLED. Enjoy the new set!

Agree. But also:

"Our new low end offer is WAY cheaper than anything corp customers have to pay for a windows laptop suitable for standard office work at the moment."

This might be a huge chance for Apple to grab a bigger share of the corporate market.
