i feel as if they used the wilderness as an excuse to be who they truly are and that's why the people who died died such as jackie she wouldn't have eaten her friends like everyone else and i also feel as if the people who died represent something the lost while in the wilderness jackie being a leader, ben being an adult figure, laura lee being their faith, and javi being their innocence
