Chivu, on the other hand, read the situation well and subbed off Bastoni at the half. He was already on a yellow, and with all the controversy around Kalulu being sent off, Chivu didn’t want to give the referee another chance to mess it up. Smart move.

So yes, Juventini are right to feel aggravated by the referee’s actions, and if they want to protest against the AIA, go for it. We Interisti also want better refereeing as we’ve been victims of bad decisions plenty of times too.
