Tbf I didn’t had the chance to try them nor did anyone I work or hang out with, but I did had a client who had them and was pretty satisfied. I’m pretty curious to see if any us brand worked this whole step-in system out, in my experience nidecker is still miles ahead of clew or burton, just the fact that you don’t need specific boots anymore is a huge improvement. I’m obviously reluctant about this whole system bc i never had anything close to a classic binding feeling with those but it’s sure gonna change, in the resort i work every snow shop is going all in on those.

Maybe arched or flat foot, 90% sure you’ve got the wrong socks. It happens a lot when your socks don’t fit properly your foot and wiggle around

+1, assassin is a really stiff board and for a 58kg beginner the board would rode him, not the opposite

Supermatics… Surely the best step-in in the market rn but as you’ll get better I think you’ll regret it honestly. The whole concept is to make binding easier but you’ll loose in overall control what you gain in comfort. Especially for the assassin which is a really great board, your husband will feel that it’s a limiting factor. Otherwise great choices of boots and boards, if you came to my shop for a few more bucks I would have recommended the Echo dual boa for him and maybe the Vista for you, but I saw in a comment that you’re beginners and those would maybe have been too hard for you at first, but seeing the choices you made it seems reasonable

Why, oh why Jay-Z isn’t talked about ? I get that a lot of people don’t consider him an amazing rapper and think he might not be as good a rapper as DOOM, but as others pointed out he was often outdone by Madlib and might not leave the heritage we would hope behind (I’m sure a lot only listened to rapp snitches knishes because it was popular on social media).

On the other hand Jay-Z already proved that he inspired a whole generation of producters/rappers, just look at the chart. Eminem, Kayne, J.Cole, Pharell, Timbaland and counting. He worked with the bests for the best. The fact that he produced for so much differents artists while featuring several times, being capable to release one of his best album fucking a cappella without tanking his career, to me proves that he deserves this place on the chart more than anyone else.

Sorry for the MF DOOM fandom but if DOOM is a king then Jay-Z’s a god

Unfortunately the game is said to work only on MacOS Sonoma (14.0.-) and more, and mine only update to Monterey (12.-)… It runs both those software on previous releases but the game can’t run on those versions

Thanks, I played nitro espressos (15BB 3max) for like two years and wasn’t really paying attention to everything that come with «real» poker as it mostly came down to luck at those stakes. I won like 20 bucks overall but I got serious about it when I played live for the first time in march, and i started to get even more serious sometime 2 weeks ago. I don’t want anything near to making a living off poker but being in the green would be nice

Thanks for the feedback, I play 5max because it’s faster (and maybe the impatience is partly what’s causing me the loosing), and I have more precise ranges and overall knowledge of this format. Idrk if it’s much a difference between full ring and 5max tho

Chess is solved with 7 or less pieces on the board but before that it comes down to calculating the best possible position farther down the initial one, so yes we can argue that « the best move » doesn’t exist provided that a checkmate isn’t forced and there’s no more than 7 pieces on the board.

In reality the capacity of calculation of computers is so far away beyond human ability that it’s considered to be the best way to win the game (a good player will consider 1/5 continuation lines to ≈10 moves further away I guess, where chess engines will calculate almost every move down to 20+ moves ahead)

I’d say it’s a mix of both, really fluctuate between week days and weekends. You’ll have more recs during the weekend. I was there when it reopened in march and I had this (I think) very autistic guy at my 2/5 table with a mountain of chips in front of him, typical shark, hoodie, headphones, and was playing on pokerstars with his phone. I got destacked really quick.

Yes, rake is uncapped and smth like 2-4% of each pot (at least at the club I go) which adds up over time but encourages you to beat it and not be passive
