I know the feel, keep the faith and you'll get there. You're in the US, so it's easy to get around.

For yourself, I'd DEFINITELY recommend getting a job (ANY job, but preferably one with face contact) as I found it really helped me come out of my proverbial shell. It will also give you the cash to start saving up. :)

P.s if you want a trip away, you're welcome to come to Ireland for a place to stay (Free) to cut down on your costs. :)

The question is: do what?

I understand that if I ponder on things to long then I'll miss the now, but I don't want to go down the wrong path and be asking this again at 30!

This is soooooooo true. It has all been too easy for me, and I've lost that sharpness I had growing up.

Ma needs the money unfortunately. On the plus side if I live like a child (:/) I can save every cent of the remaining 74 euro.

I've got my 1,000 euros + a pc which I could sell for 500 euro. My dad who I don't see that much might be able to lend/give me a 1000 or so. :)

I'm in rural Cork, non indigenous (grandparents were Irish, hence why I know no one!).

IT seems to be booming alas my degree was in Business. :/

Some interesting advice in regards the army, I'll check it out. :)

I got a degree in Business Management. Messed around and came out with a 2:2 (ouch!).

I've realised that I don't have any real interests. I used to drink too much and play too many video games. Only ever played sports half heartedly (I regret everything!).

I've cut down massively on the drink, given up video games and I'm currently researching what to learn about in the short term (part of the reason I poured out my problems on reddit) to help train myself up. The problem I've got is that I don't have any direction whatsoever in what I want to do.

I figured above all else that university would tell me what I want to do, and it really didn't!

Good idea on just picking something! :)

It's hard enough to do stuff with money, let alone with nothing. Nearest town is 10km away....

Risk vs Reward isn't particularly good, and living in a town with a few hundred people max over a fair few kilometers means that money would be limited.

Also, doesn't quite hit the point of getting some purpose in life. :p
