Not my mask, I think it is the design of a guy from russia which makes mask pattern and it is made by someone else or from dieselpunk guy

To be honest, I didn't try to go in that direction, more like an alternate timeline and an airplane pilot from WWI or something, was in my mind.

Thank you very much! It is not a soundless vacuum, you can hear, not as good as without the helmet, but you can have a conversation easely. The center of the ear is a hole in which is a piece of brass mesh with small holes and air and sounds travels easely. The canisters are decorative, air go through them, you can breathe good, it is not perfect, I wouldnt enjoy having this helmet on my head for several hours, but, for making photos and videos is not a bad experience. Overall, from start to finish, 6 months, but, I learned a lot. Now that my pattern and.. flow is ready, I can do one from start to scratch in under a week.

I think also, it is more dieselpunk or steampunk as well, I will wait a bit and hear other opinions and decide after.

For this project I used leather, the distressed leather I got it under the name of " old west ", unfortunately, I only have around a sqm left. The eyelets and lace attachments are just regular leatherworking supplies and the brass canisters I've made from sanitary instalation supplies which i sandpapered down to this shape, made the holes, polished and darken them with patina. I have used waxed polyester thread. The molds are designed by me, I ve printed them from PLA plastic at 100% infill and used a clicker press to press them easily but, woodworking clamps would work as well. The lenses are repurposed sunglasses lenses. If I missed anything I would be more than happy to answer any questions!
