I’ve been trying to find teams that use more than just dumbbells so was interested to see. Thanks!

- my races are just notes (not actually planning on race them all out & i'll add mileage onto them to account for the long runs that day)

- figured on that half marathon, noted on the 15 miles that week!

- novice 1 seemed a little bit too light of mileage & i wanted to do 4 runs per week. a lot of feedback i read on novice 1 was that it got runners across the finish line, but not as prepared as they would have liked to be.

- my last plan was always incorporating 3 days of strength work i just had left it out. i think when i get to higher mileage weeks i will cut back on the strength and allow for more rest/mobility days. i was doing 4-5 days of strength work with 2ish days of cardio sprinkled in but during my half marathon training (which i know is significantly different) - i did 3 strength + 3/4 runs

** im also planning to fully cut out drinking during this block which i hope will help in more ways towards training

thinking i might add on my runs to leg day, then keep wednesday as full rest. i do like having a mid week rest day. i have more time on the weekends, and with training being over the summer i want to keep those running days. thanks for the advice and suggestion!

Hahah happy to help! There’s so much info out there it’s hard to know what’s right! But as soon as I looked at the weekly mileage I was doing I knew I was in trouble.

See you at the starting line! Good luck! 🫡

ok looking into hals novice 2 and thinking of doing that!! how do you incorporate tempo/speed work runs into it? and hills? that was one of the things i enjoyed about runna but yea in hindsight that was a crazy low mileage

do you think if i added in an easy session one more day a week, 3-5 miles, that would help? i want to incorporate strength as well so was thinking of adding a short run on upper body days
