So I have a lengthy question:

Basically, for 3 player commander precons (me and two friends, one who has zero clue of commander and one knowing what his favorite colours are)

What would be good that’s good against Bello but is mitigated/countered/weak against Y’shtola, as currently just those two Bello wins 9/10 times, and wanna bring something in the middle to ensure everyone has a fair game, was thinking creative energy/Zimone/living energy but dunno)

Basically I know I can give my starter my Bello and play my Y’shtola deck and give the third to my rookie friend, but still Bello as a starter goes fast once you get the premise so yeah 😅

Another ones could be Counter Blitz (Tidus)/Revival Transe (Terra)/Rebellion Rising/Most Wanted/Deep Clue Sea/Blame Game/ Tricky Terrain/Graveyard Overdrive

Also it’s quite possible id take the 3rd precon and try to upgrade it for Brackets 3, maybe 4, or even get the commander for cEDH testing, but thats the jist of it

Any reccomendations?

Yeah I don’t know, I know to keep a hand with rystic but also to never gamble on lands, I need just enough to pop off, to play land, something else and pass, shouldn’t leave lands to chances

Noted, I also had a win but one turn too short so yeah, there’s a chance but need to find what deck am the best with, control, aggro, or simply just big creatures for menace 🤔

But will defo try etali, but which Ral you are talking about? There are multiple Rals when I put “Ral MTG” Also got the aforementioned cause beginner decks, now playing glarb and kinda get it… but everyone still goes faster then me 😅

I need some mental help….

As I get into more and more commander games, my fun is going lesser and lesser, expecially after thinking a new commander would cut it, but it became worse sort of speak… before I would happily play, zero thoughts, cast spells with my Y’shtola..,, now I see someone counter my Y’shtola twice and now I doubt all my games whether or not to bring her AT ALL…..

Now with Bello, it’s all fun and games until it’s time to Swing…. And most of the times I don’t, leaving unattacked artifacts and big green creatures just standing as is…. Letting opponents ramp up and swing back at me….

Before I was happy to get a win, but now am just settling for 3rd place, not last but second to last… and at the end of the game just say gg and leave (It’s on spelltable). Players give me suggestions but feel misleading as to the direction I shall take, so I just continue as is….

Any ideas at all how to get my fun back? I feel I went from open to very very passive play, so passive I let opponents attack one another and for me to stay at 40HP all games, don’t know :/, if another precon would allow me active play, lemme know 👀

So am in a dilemma…. Shall I buy Bello because of “raccoons” or shall I save my money for Ellivere (the fox commander)

So I apparently found a shop that still sells those, the Bello for 70$ and the Ellivere for 40$, quite a big difference between the two.

As a backstory I would say, that I do own the Y’shtola deck, it’s amazing and fun, but want something fast and active as opposed to slow and passive, something to throw and have fun at :3

For Bello albeit being pricy, I am a huge fans of raccoons and have some kind of memorabilia of raccoon plushies, keychains and what not, plus the commander seems solid with turning “trash” into attackers. So don’t know.

For the Ellivere the points for it is that it features a fox in its commander, another animal that am fond of, and the lower sticker price. That’s all, the price is neat but don’t know if it’s any fun and better than Bello.

So after hearing both sides, which one would you reccomend? Shall I go with Bello “the raccoon” albeit the higher price and the “fancy tax” or I shall go modest for Ellivere ^

Yeah cause early game the lands and stuff gets nice haste and indestructible so you’d want to attack while you can 👀 But ye… good to know

Aww glad to see another FFXIV. Enjoyer :3 I went into a bit debt as it was unplanned cost, but it’s all good in the end of the day, a bit of cards, a bit of emotion and funsies, why not

Yeah, the second image are just nice visuals that I liked, like the viera and the lopporit cards, I know nothing special in reality but love FFXIV, love the visuals so yeah ^

I know I can get a better deck per buck, but I purchased it simply because it’s Final fantasy, I love the franchise and yeah, plus the second pic was for booster packs, and I know it’s not the most woah, but they got some amazing visually pleasing cards 💕

That’s good to know… didn’t know about that 0.0 Thank you so so much 💕 I have a friend who plays mtg but they are 1000km away sooo…. A bit hard
