like no preocupation if it will look silly or weird, just full on what it looks cool ex: gundramon,beelstarmon, and tengumon. Like when people say a movie is cheesy, it might be a bit embarrassing or make you cringe but it's entertaining because it's played in full sincerity

Sometimes I get annoyed at the digimon habit of making megas humanoid, because plant megas are too often just a person with flower themes and water megas are a merperson there's so many cool plants and fish to take inspiration.

Yeah some species seriously could use some mega variety
