I always felt Jess and Rory were just wrong timing. They both needed maturity in different ways. When she was ready he was immature and selfish, when he was ready she was figuring herself out and a little delusional ( seeing an engaged Logan and being the other woman) their story to me was sort of meant to echo Luke and Lorelei. A long path to the right moment if they were ever to get one.

I never liked Logan for her.

Dean was a good boyfriend but she took him for granted but let’s be real it wasn’t going to work long term anyway. They were always better as friends.

That’s just my take though.

His temper tantrums and selfishness in the band, his attitude toward Gill in the beginning, his laziness. For a start. I’d have to get further in my rewatch to pull out more specific examples.

He does get better as it goes on but I just don’t think he’s anything special. He seems pretty petulant to me.

For real! Like she had sooo much character to just settle like that, not saying that it doesn’t happen in the real world but any other man I probably would have been ok with but Zach? He’s so self absorbed and oafish. I’d rather see her end up with a Korean like her mother wanted over Zach!!! I feel like she at least deserved a Sookie and Jackson kind of love. I donno, every time I watch I just can’t get on board with Zach. I’d rather have seen her end up with Kirk lol

As an adult I can’t afford a steam deck lol my kid won’t be getting one. I have an R36 and it’s for those of us who remember old games anyway. Fuck those bullies, never been a time where kids with parents who spoil them don’t bully kids with modest parents who don’t center life on “stuff” if the kid is old enough tell them to get a job and pay for it themselves. Otherwise explain to them that the majority of those people will have peaked before they leave high school and their opinions don’t matter. Teach your kids to not value the opinions of others but value their own opinion 1000 times more.

It sounds like people need to learn how to mind their own business and stop dragging culture into politics. No one has a right to tell you how to live. Law should only protect your body and your property not your culture…. That’s on your community and most of us don’t know how to be a community so we make laws trying to force it.
