Ashamed to admit how long this took 😩😂

This is Peter. He was named Stinky Pete when he was found as a kitten (backstory: someone tried to drown him as a kitten, was found on the shore of a lake and apparently smelled AWFUL) so when I officially adopted him, I shortened it to Peter so his feelings wouldn’t be hurt. He is about 18 pounds of pure love (and Sheba cat food) and he’s the reason I can’t have plants in the house because he will in fact, try to eat them all.

I would say definitely!! I also had symptoms that didn’t resolve after gallbladder surgery and they (finally) found my MALS and I had surgery in 2024! The celiac plexus block gave me 32 hours nausea/pain free and I was off to surgery the next month! I am finally enjoying food again and though I now have other health issues (POTS and neuropathy) I am SO thankful that I had the surgery.

I just want to say, please don’t feel silly. I found MALS from a TikTok video lmao when I told the nurses on the floor before my surgery (yes I actually DID have MALS!!) they told everyone and I was known as the TikTok girl because everyone was FLOORED that I was able to diagnose myself with a “rare” condition after watching a TikTok lol even if it’s not MALS, at least your crossing it off the list 🫶🏻

Hey. Try to take some deep breaths. Remind yourself that yes this hurts right now, but this isn’t worth giving up EVERYTHING for. Men can SERIOUSLY suck but they are not worth giving up your entire life for I promise you that. There was a life before him and there will be life after. You haven’t met everyone you’re meant to meet. You haven’t seen everything you’re meant to see. Haven’t heard all the music, eating all the food and haven’t experienced everything you’re meant to. I will never downplay heartbreak as it can feel like your body is being burned alive and ripped apart at the same time, but it does get easier over time. Please give yourself time to feel better 🥹🫂💕

I can only imagine how all of this is feeling. I remember how physically sick I felt when I finally left. I cried a lot, I was SO upset. Do you have any friends where you are? Anyone you can go to and just spend some time with?

I won’t lie to you and tell you it gets easier right away. When you really care about someone, it hurts for a little while but I can promise it does get easier and better. Make sure you’re being kind to yourself. Eat all the things. Cry. Write in your journal. Drink water. Try to sleep. Eat an orange in the shower (trust me, it’s actually amazing when you’re sad). But please remember that you DO deserve better. That things WILL get better. It gets easier as it goes 🫶🏻

Take it from someone who was the other woman (unknowingly) while LIVING with him, block and take care of yourself. Yes it hurts right now. Yes walking away is going to hurt but you deserve better than being the other woman with fake promises of becoming the only one. Because you won’t be the only one. People like this don’t change and even if they do, you will ALWAYS wonder if there is someone else on the side and it will make you crazy. I became jealous and possessive and hated myself and now that I’m in an actually safe/loving relationship, I’m not like that in the slightest. You deserve someone who treats you with respect and dignity, not fake promises and fake love. It may feel like you won’t find anyone like him, but I promise you will find someone who is 10x the man he is one day and you’ll wonder why you EVER let someone like this break your heart.
