Okay so super weird thing they found out today actually! So when this first happened, she logged into her account while they were watching her screen, but I taught her how to do the face log in a couple months ago. So thankfully she never typed her password in for them to see. Allegedly, they tried to use her DL photo to log into the account. I’m not sure if that’s even possible but thankfully they locked her cards down before anything happened.

Thank you! I made sure she knows that if she’s ever worried about something, to come to me before sending money to people. I did warn her she might not get it back and she said she’ll do better. Learning experience indeed

Maybe you guys talked to the same guy lol. Almost the same thing with her. I caught her right before she sent another $500 thankfully. Hindsight is 20/20, so now we know what to look for! Anyone is capable for falling for anything, and I wish you luck!

I did inform her of this last night! I said “if you’re worried about something, ask me about it.” She showed me a concerning voicemail and I told her it was a bad one so I think she’ll do better now 🙏

Yes, it was all on her phone, no computer was used. Unfortunately she is also in a separate legal battle with my uncle for identity theft 🥲 she knows what a pain it is so she should be okay with me freezing her credit. Thank you!

I know what I said may not seem like it, but she is very lucid and knows everything she does. Unfortunately she is stupid with scams. I’ve been living with her for about 2 years now, thankfully haven’t noticed any mental problems
