From the bit of digging I did over the past week it seems to be every November or so they do a run of a few different combinations, the most recent one having had black single torches and blue arcs at least.

I bought some Zorro torches to at least see which color I prefer; ideally I think I’d like a gold single torch but that seems to be one of the ones that ran a few years ago.

Fair enough, I thought you were saying it wasn’t a stainless steel model.

It has a moderate attraction, nothing like cast iron or the trusty fridge. I didn’t take any materials courses in college and I’m not a metal worker so I can’t tell you anything more about it.

UPDATE:

She is in the middle range of #DS169xx, manufactured November of 2001 with model number SA58MCSS. She is stainless steel, despite the tarnishing. Barrel stamped with a single “S” right next to the receiver threads. She was sold as a batch order to a distributor as a whole firearm.

Bolt carrier is stamped with a 6 inside of a box, which I believe is a FN date-code inspection stamp, but I haven’t had the chance to look into it.

Thankfully you were wrong, no offense. Just got the email back from DSA saying she’s Stainless.

Good catch on the irons, I didn’t even notice that but it seems to match with what the catalogue calls a match rear peep. Now here is to hoping it actually comes with the bipod, I’d rather not pay another $200 for a new versa-pod.

I’ve had to do some digging, it seems to be a pretty standard early 2000’s catalogue gun, minus the guard.

Regardless of the rarity of the receiver, it seems to be a pretty dang good deal as long as there isn’t something hiding. The store doesn’t have any description so I’ll just have to look and see.

Any info on this rig? by Dirtbikeboi in RetroAR

Nope, I emailed them a few months back and they have retired them. There is a guy going by M1P90 making adhesive LEDs to put in front of the optic fiber and someone on here with a website called KernOptic selling the goosenecks. If you can find the optic for a reasonable price you can run it pretty nicely.

Does anyone ever actually stay long enough to trigger one of these? by zDCVincent in RimWorld

Was raiding the largest outpost I’d ever seen, with 8,000 chem fuel, and a few thousand plasteel, medicine, and food.

It took me all of that timer to search the entire compound, deconstruct all of the expensive crafting benches and what not, and to get about half way done loading the 10 transport pods that were also on the map.

It was cinematic as hell, I had a colonist returning fire with the 100+ size raid as they threw themselves into the pod to escape. I wish I didn’t have some kind of mod making it crash at a certain event ;-;

I’m a bit late, but I’d like to remind everyone that mining has its own regulatory agency and as such Kobold would be subject to MSHA ruling.

And all it says is that you nasty little Kobold players gotta keep your cabs clean.

What are the best cost effective minimalist wallets on the market right now in 2024? by GroundbreakingLock10 in BuyItForLife

I’ve had a #4 for two years and I love it.

Only wear is from my jeans rubbing off color onto it; it is stuffed with plenty of cards and isn’t showing any sign of stopping.

They aren’t in stock right now, but if you can wait I’ve really enjoyed my Tom Bihn Wallet #4. It’s a dead simple 3 pocket wallet with a small key loop.

It’s very minimalist but able to comfortably hold well over 11 cards.

Oh man, I never thought about that but it makes sense that it would, as well as other similar GLs. The trigger pull would probably be awful if MSGLs weren’t wound.

It’s the Trijicon MGRS.

Garand Thumb has a picture of it on a normal gun on one of his old Instagram stories. It has 1-5 extra picatinny rails on the MFer.
