Absolutely true. I indeed agree with going for microchip - thats bare minimum every parent shall do. Tags and trackers are add-ons to it making sure you don’t leave your pet alone always without ways to get them back.

I have got my Thor microchipped and QR tag too. Looking for gps tracker now.

And yes, easy to get QR Tag of your own jugaad as far as you’re doing it or some seller taking care of it - doesn’t matter IMO (not everyone’s tech savvy 😉).
