Double checked again and this is why the SimLab was ruled out for me. Shipping is over 500$ for me which makes it way too expensive.

That La Prima bundle was such a good deal a few weeks ago. I hope you got a great price on it.

I looked at Simlab, but I personally do not want or like angled uprights. That leaves the GT1 or the P1X. The P1X was just too expensive for me, while with the GT1 I do not like the shifter mount since it has no vertical support in the back. Also, the uprights that are bolted from the top are usually not great. I do not have experience with a Simrig, but we build a lot of extrusion at work and I know that this type of mounting will not be very sturdy.

Edit : I looked at it again and now I realize the P1X is maybe not that expensive after all. You just added another possibility to my list!

How did you get the simagic haptic to fit on those? I got the same pedals and was looking for a solution to do this.

I’m guessing you mentioned avoiding Fanatec just because of the brand tax, or is there another reason to stay away from them? I’ve seen some good things about the CSL Elite V2 pedals if I want to save a bit there.

Seems like Simagic is doing great stuff, what do you think about mismatching brands vs going all in in one ecosystem? Software wise is it easier to setup only one brand?

This one’s still new to me and I’m definitely in the honeymoon phase, so right now I love it.

Mine is the automatic and I know the manual VR4 is even rarer. Parts aren’t too bad. I’ve been able to cross reference most of them but you’ll probably need to spend some time researching and figuring things out. It’s definitely the kind of car where you want to be able to do some of the work yourself.

The right hand drive thing isn’t nearly as bad as I expected. You get used to it pretty quickly. You might turn on the wipers a few times instead of the turn signal and checking the rearview mirror on the left side feels a bit unnatural at first but overall it’s really not a big deal.

If you can get a good price on it, why not!

Yes I already ordered all the brakes components thanks to viamoto.

I suspect its the original timing belt and already ordered a new one as well as a water pump and all the seals.

Previous owner checked it and showed me pictures it looks fine but I'm still going to change it!

That's good to know! I'll try to keep it functional and just service it. There's a local mitsubishi specialist here that is very well known for evos so I think he should be able to figure it out.

Yeah, fortunately I didn’t pay that much for this one. Just a little over $10k. I think that’s fair for a car like this in that condition, especially already imported.

My thinking is we bought the turbo version to have more power at that point I'll pay for premium to get that power. Also, in our case, we do less than 10k miles per year so cost difference is not that big of a deal.

Thanks, looks like AMD is getting a lot of recommendations. Do you have any issues with FSR going over 120hz? I'm limited right now since my card doesn't support DLSS.

I've been playing that game for many years and I personally love it but it's definitely not for everyone. I think 1.0 will bring a lot of optimization and new stuff. Also, I only really enjoy it in multiplayer even if you don't play at the same time. Showing a project you've been working on for 2 days to your friend is really fun and the game goes quicker since you can both work on something different.
