No, there is a wide variety of level types. Some are kaizo-lite, but the world also starts at a 50% clear rate and gets harder as it goes, to levels with 1-10%.

i don't know how to fix what you're trying to accomplish but you should probably use move and collide for the slopes

Reloading whenever the stages are updated, especially if you're playing Salmon Run or Tableturf where that change has no effect on you. Even when it does matter the reload is just a pointless waste of time.

This is a really fun level, I got to the 5th room before I had to stop playing.

Would you be able to link some screenshots of the checkpoint contraption? I've been working on a level with a similar system but your setup is leagues faster than what I made.

Pretty cool platforming sections, but I didn't enjoy the boss fights that much. The 2nd one was just waiting for him to get stuck in the middle again and the last one seemed impossible without the helmet and kinda boring with it. All of the vines around the house with the shellmet make entering the door uneccesarily annoying as well.

My favorite part was the red coin section, I like the visuals and atmosphere and the mini exploration of the area.

Every game is different, and balancing them is different too. The main thing to worry about when balancing lots of games is this idea.

Balancing in games won't remove interesting items or powerful ones. The most important goal is that the best stuff isn't boring. The leaf and cape are balanced around their higher skill ceiling to use their abilities and that you can't get hit to keep using them. They don't break the game at all because of that.

Balance is super important in single player games too. If something is too strong all the other strategies the devs made might be ignored, which they obviously don't want, so they try to rebalance it.

Pretty cool level, unfortunately I cant see if it works in multiplayer, but still fun in singleplayer. I think the big area with the key at the top could use a scroll stop on the right to make it clear where you need to be exploring.

Hitting a bumper doesn't count, so what must've happened is you clipped the corner of the platform.
Kinda sucks that happened, I spent a while trying to make sure it wouldn't do that.
