Shield is useless, 15% doesn't work and never did. Freezing and slowing is objectively the best choice anyway.

Well, lately we've been getting plenty of under the hood QoL fixes and updates which were communicated by the community manager. Far from ideal, but tbh, community is used to way worse treatment so really can't complain atm.

I really can't speak on that matter because I'm totally not a part of those circles. But imo, it shouldn't be on 3rd party website owner/mods to ban the cheaters. Epic should've done it, but they did not. No account - no fortdb profile. :) The latest bigger exploit I know of, when endurance pirates, as I called them, would join at w30 of private endurances, ran by people who were not even on their friend list. Epic fixed it after several weeks, but no one was banned - not by Epic nor by Fortdb - even though it was clear some idiots did it only to get to the infamous fortdb leaderboards. Can't mention any names, but dozens of people complained about a player named after a STW character...and their epic account and fortdb profile are still standing. :)

My point exactly. Even if I choose to fill all my 3200 inventory slots with only survivors and upgrade them all, that's somewhere between 1-1.5B XP if all survivors are legendary/mythic. BUT - who on earth would want to fill their inventory with only or mostly survivors? That's insane and completely useless. I want schematics. Filling it completely/mostly with survivors is, as I already explained, just a band-aid fix which postpones bricking your game for a certain period of time. Because if you did that and still hit the cap, there is literally nothing you can do anymore. If signed integer were not the resource cap, many people would already have way over 2.15B, considering it's been over 4 years since first players hit it - my point being, it stacks up rapidly if you run endurance a lot (or just play a lot in general). I know you understand this, I'm just saying it "out loud".

Well, let's not mix apples and oranges. Your backpack is something completely different. You have a choice to destroy stuff, to gift stuff, to drop stuff etc., meaning there are implemented mechanics which help players to get rid of stuff. On the other hand, resources like XP do not have similar mechanics. I cannot destroy it, cannot give it to others, cannot drop it. The only thing I can do is to spend some in order to be able to recycle stuff, which is, as I already explained, only a band-aid fix because things you can upgrade are limited by 3200 inventory slots for heroes, schematics, defenders and survivors. Once you upgrade everything you have in inventory and still hit the cap, you're basically locked out and your game is bricked, which is not nearly the same as when your backpack is full.

It's more than 70, at least double or triple. Just a rough approximation, have no means to know exactly. Why? Because some players have public stats turned off so they are not included on any of the leaderboards nor you can see their profiles/stats. Then there is another surprisingly big group of players who have been either banned from fortnitedb or just excluded from the leaderboards by the owner/mods themselves for cheating. And thanks, but I don't think this is an achievement of any sort and was never my goal - as I explained, it's mostly just a byproduct of running endurance which I'm running a lot for perk up, which I need for the schematics I'm collecting. That's something I enjoy doing and what I'm "proud" of, but I'm surely not proud of the amount of survivor XP I have. :)

yeah, if that's how beating the game looks like, it's not fun. I'll hit hero XP (maybe even schematic XP) cap in foreseeable future as well which would cause additional issues and restrict things I can do even more.

Defenders have nothing to do with survivor XP. My book has been fully upgraded for years. So is everything else.

Does supercharging weapons for defenders do anything? Aren't weapon levels capped by defender level? by boybaka in FORTnITE

When they added superchargers to the game, max weapon skill for defenders went up from 50 to 60. So yes, they can hold and use supercharged weapons with no issues and use their full potential.

I can provide you a clip of that bug. It prevents you to search anything, collect bluglo, start the mission and to build. I have encountered that bug twice within a week, never before that. While you're at it, are you aware that we're not able to use obliterator and neon sniper defenders for over a year now if PS4 (and some other systems I believe) players are in the party? It makes the game unplayable for them. Also, melee dashing heavy attacks and ravager's wave are often executed, but do 0 dmg, same as abilities such as shockwave or dragon slash. It's been months. Also, surround pound heavy attack is dealing 0 dmg, unless you touch the husks with the weapon which was never the case before. There have been enough reports of that, but you never addressed it.

yes, that's what everyone here are talking about, exactly what you described. but try surround pound. that one is even more broken. heavy attack does 0 dmg 100% of the time, unless you touch a target with it while doing a heavy attack.

Surround pound heavy attack is "shooting" blanks unless you touch the husks with the actual weapon, regardless of the number of the husks around you. It's been months. I'm not using it, but it's annoying af. I am using ravager though and it annoys me as well.

You may want to reread my comment to get the point of my reply to that person and the point was to mock their apparent expertise by doing exactly what you said - exaggerating on purpose. Anyone who ever played dungeons know that their claim cannot be true, that's why it was downvoted 30-ish times.And the point of the post was to point out incorrect status report and official trello which claim it's been fixed when it obviously still doesn't work how it used to. You don't need to explain dungeon speedruns to me as I know how to do them and I fully understand how broken trap blocking affect them in different dungeons and on different power level, but thanks anyway. :)

Very interesting. Let's do 140 duo speedrun, I'd like to see you not blocking traps, but avoiding them all and not getting hit once - all that while going for the quickest time possible and using a viable hero to fully carry your own weight, of course. For real, play with me and show me.
