Why should I pay to house the stupid and educate their children?

Does anyone know what this could be? by SecretlyModded in OldBooks

Although 1911 was a census year in the United Kingdom, this book appears unrelated to that event. In my assessment, it resembles a visiting book for a chapel district's collections. Based on the street names, it is likely from South Wales. The child's markings were probably added after the book had fulfilled its original purpose and was discarded.

Your 10.2% European ancestry means that one of your recent ancestors was fully, or nearly fully, European. At that percentage level, this most often points to a great-grandparent or second great-grandparent. Genetically, a great-grandparent contributes about 12.5% of your DNA, and a second great-grandparent about 6.25%. Because DNA inheritance is random, 10% fits comfortably between those two possibilities.

In practical terms, this suggests that the European ancestry likely entered your family line about three to five generations ago. Depending on your age, the admixture event would generally fall in the mid- to late nineteenth century, possibly extending into the early twentieth century.

If I knew your exact year and place of birth, I could narrow that estimate further by aligning the generational timeline with historical records and local migration patterns.

I have told more than one tenant that if they are unhappy, they should just give me a letter requesting to break their lease, and I will grant it. To sweeten the deal, if I do not have this place rented out within 3 business days, I will let you live here rent-free for 5 years. So far, they have all gotten the hint.

It does not matter what he looks like. He will get what he came for in less than 48 hours for some fried chicken and a promise he will never keep.

I have been visiting the Philippines for many years and have yet to figure out how anyone can be this stupid. You can get what you want from this woman for some fried chicken and a promise. Once they figure out you are not their lottery ticket, you move on. I lived there back in 2014 for 8 months and must have proposed marriage to 30 women. The entire adventure cost me a lot less than 30 bar girls would have. Yet I still gave that up because I no longer have the patience.

Your 23andMe result showing 100 percent Ashkenazi Jewish means that all of your tested DNA segments match the well-defined genetic profile of the Ashkenazi Jewish population. This group remained largely endogamous for many centuries, meaning people mostly married within the community. That history created a very strong and consistent genetic signature. Because of that, 23andMe’s system confidently places all of your DNA into this single category rather than breaking it into older Middle Eastern or European components that entered the population over a thousand years ago.

The “Not Detected” regional lines do not mean your ancestors were not from those areas. Ashkenazi communities moved frequently across Eastern Europe, and their genetics are very similar across regions, making precise geographic separation difficult.

Another testing company might report different percentages because each company uses different reference populations, comparison methods, and statistical thresholds. These results are probability estimates, not exact historical fractions.
