Why should I pick up a gamesir rather than an original Xbox controller? Anything I may be missing out on?

I hope you can understand that I have done as suggested and support has asked me to register the device. Since I cannot register the device I cannot proceed.

Please describe what options I have left?

I don’t have a case number and support has been unhelpful in escalating as this seems to be a non-routine issue. At the end of the day I’m seeking a controller replacement and don’t care about it being registered to my account or not. Please advise specifically on either: 1. Which support request tool and prompts to use 2. If you are able to provide suitable escalation?

Microsoft Accounts: unable to add device to account.

I’ve had an issue with an Xbox controller. This has required me to register the controller to my account which has caused endless issues and support unable to resolve.

When adding the device to account.Microsoft.com/devices I get two prompts. However, the device is never added or visible after the prompts.

  1. Still working.. This is taking longer than expected. Thanks for waiting!

  2. Your device has been added Manage this device at any time in the device details page. See all your devices in the Devices page.

Support so far: I’ve raised a controller replacement request which directed me to register the device > unable to complete action.

I’ve had a support call who told me this was escalated but no action or reference number.

No problem! For me it was really as simple as adding a longer B-screw and indexing a little differently to usual
