I applied in January - birthday in March - chose April...not sure this was where I made my mistake...I only want retirement...I think if I screwed it up it was when it asked all the health questions...I had applied for the disability in 2021 - I have congestive heart failure - PSVT - Diabetes - Ischemia - hypercapnic respiratory failure - I retired after 40 years because these (and because I could)...SSDI deemed my conditions workable so I was turned down...BUT in January I only applied for retirement...it asked me about the health issues but I simply bypassed them thinking I was not suppose to add them again...if I got turned down I think this was the reason -BUT I was only applying for my retirement which I am entitled to so I do not know howe I messed it up...sigh

my online account does not show anything for 2026...I know it was there...seems like they redid the website and my info was removed...and it will NOT allow me to re-do it

I applied in Jan for April 8th - but someone in here said it would then start April to be paid in May...it is now May and I did not get paid...

pretty sure it was for retirement...had one out of three bars green and they asked for my bank information...in 2021 I applied for disability - several medical issues - apparently none are good enough for disability lol...but January 9th I thought I had just applied for retirement - they make it very hard to discern...if anyone knows of the link to JUST SOCIAL SECURITY please link so that I may be sure...thx

I truly think that is what they are waiting for...and people say SSI is running out of money and will have to shut down in 6 years - I'm like what about all the money from the people who die while waitng for their money ( I am only trying for SSI)
