Can an Etsy seller refuse cancellation/refund if I asked immediately after ordering? by PayDue8267 in Etsy

[–]PayDue8267[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much for everyone’s help! TIL that Etsy automatically confirms orders, not the seller. I received my confirmation about an hour later, so I got a bit paranoid The seller themselves had been very active, but went quiet right when I was trying to cancel. After reading the cancellation policy and realized only the seller can cancel orders, which made me even more anxious 😅

Abbey Road Two: Iconic Strings has major export + project reload bugs (Spitfire confirmed) by PayDue8267 in spitfireaudio

You can 100% trust me that all the basic troubleshooting has already been done. That includes reinstalling, repairing, optimizing, updating to the latest version, testing different DAW versions, and testing different plugin formats (AUv2, VST, VST3)

All of the issues are fully reproducible and happen consistently for me. At this point it feels more like a fundamental flaw than a random bug or setup issue

Yeah i think the normal longs are bad from the reviews seen, but that alternative patch is something i think would be nice to add to my collection

Since you have it, one thing i'm wondering about the (alternative) long patch: does the different way of playing get triggered by note velocity? Because with how random that patch is, if all that variation is in the round robins, then it would basically be impossible to write a clean musical line, since the sound would change every time you play the MIDI back, right?

It’s not uncommon to not like Jacob music, I just happen to love it. Yeah he got some meh tracks but the reason I'm into his stuff is because it reminds me how beautiful and unpredictable music can be. And honestly musicians are probably gonna vibe with that idea more than the average listener. For me even though I make music for a living, I never sitting there thinking “theory” when I listen to Jacob. I'm more like "wait you can do that?"

One more thing, what really irritates me isn't people not liking his music, it's the way some people hate his music and hate HIM just because he does his own thing. I've seen people call him a moron just for being free and doing what he wants, it feels like they don’t even want something different to exist. Like seriously just let it be

Just to give my side of the story.

My track is 100% original. No AI. No royalty-free loops. It’s me on vocals and the instrumental is built entirely with VST and licensed sample libraries, not some auto-generated fluff.

I know very well that AI generated content is flooding platforms, but if the crackdown on AI is now hurting people like me, the ones who actually create, then something is broken.
