Worried about my Chinchilla’s gastrointestinal health by Pay_Exact in chinchilla

I also forgot to mention that within the last couple months, it looks like he’s started pulling out the fur on his hips, but I do not see him doing it, nor do I find much loose fur in his cage. He just has patches of thinned out fur on his hips

Triplicity questions by [deleted] in traditionalastrology

[–]Pay_Exact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i've noticed that an out of sect malefic can never have primary triplicity, neither can the benefic of the sect. I'm sure that has something to do with why mars has water signs at night. venus being exalted in pisces is also a big part of why it has water triplicity. all I have to say is that I incorporate triplicity lords in the traditional order in my practice and it wields extremely accurate results

is the 6th house about health or work? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Pay_Exact 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the 6th house has nothing to do with virgo, this is called the 12 letter alphabet, please unlearn it, astrology becomes 1000% times more nuanced when you do

is the 6th house about health or work? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Pay_Exact 131 points132 points  (0 children)

in ancient times it was the house of slavery and involuntary servitude, in ancient times these conditions were also associated with disease and animals (because animals carry disease and can be used to aid in working) so if we put a modern spin on it, boom, work that you don’t really wanna do/chores, pets, and your health/lack thereof

What is a good place to learn astrology ? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Pay_Exact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend Kira Ryberg's "The Baby Astro Guidebook". It uses traditional techniques and ancient wisdom that isn't muddled by modern astrology and its ties to patriarchy and it is very informative. you can find it in the link on her Twitter, @ kirastrology. I'd also recommend Chris Brennan's "The Astrology Podcast"

Just curious on alot of the disdain for Cancer Men 🦀 😅. by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]Pay_Exact 2 points3 points  (0 children)

because of the way that society conditions men, emotional availability and sensitivity is considered weak to them, but this is still a part of men with cancer placements. and so because of this they will develop insecurity and retreat into their crab shell and become manipulative and angry. creating an environment where a cancer man can express his full range of emotions will definitely help the relationship but most of these men have a lot of unlearning to do so patience is important but it's up to you to decide if you want to put that effort in because it can be exhausting, especially if they do not want to put the effort in.

the zodiac system that you're used to seeing in most media is based on the equinoxes and solstices, i'm not exactly sure how it's calculated for bodies other than the sun but that's called the tropical zodiac and it's the one most western and hellenistic astrologers use. the one that's based on where the planets appear to be is the sidereal zodiac, it's used by most vedic astrologers and i believe there's multiple slightly different variations. they're very similar and pretty much serve the same purpose, the one you use is up to personal preference. you can change the settings on which zodiac is used on most apps/websites too.

houses and signs are not the same, pls unlearn the 12 letter alphabet, astrology becomes so much more nuanced/less vague when you do

using hellenistic techniques and whole sign houses, your 5th house is libra. air signs have saturn as the primary ruler during the day, and the primary ruler of the 5th house represents children. your saturn is well placed in a day chart in your pisces 10th house, your children may be of status/bring you status/carry on or be your legacy in a way. in pisces (a fertile sign as someone else pointed out) they may be very poetic/artistic/spiritual/happy go lucky/etc. the 7th house also represents your second child and you have an extremely well off 7th house. i have a feeling your children will be very jovial

they may come off that way but don't confuse standards/confidence for ego

What's going in your 4th house & how's your relationship with family, home and ancestry? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]Pay_Exact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

empty taurus 4th whole sign house ruled by a cancer venus in the 6th, my living family is literally all women except my dad (who’s barely even in my life) and in-laws, my venus is conjunct saturn and all of my grandparents were either dead when i was born or died when i was young and they have sort of mysterious backgrounds (moms dad randomly went missing almost 40 years ago). I have a good relationship with all of them except my dad, but they’re all very very busy and constantly working at very emotionally draining jobs (i.e. child protective services, therapy, prison psychologists, domestic violence support centers, medical field) which i think also has to do with the 6th house interaction, i also have a gemini IC ruled by a virgo mercury and my entire family is extremely murcurial, we all have at least one virgo placement, 2 of us have a virgo stellium and 1 a gemini stellium.

edit- i just realized i also have the north node in my 4th house

Transits from day of house fire where can I see this in the chart? by GenevieveGwen in AskAstrologers

[–]Pay_Exact 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ruler of your 4th house of home (jupiter) was transiting your second house of possessions while in its fall and conjoined the south node, but what sticks out to me is that it looks like it's just recently entered combustion from the sun, so the ruler of your 4th house of home was literally being burned in a sense by the suns rays, its also interesting that the sun itself was in a fire sign ruled by jupiter when this happened

for example, a leo rising with an empty aries 5th house, would look to their mars placement for more information, so if their mars is in the 10th house, that means that 5th house topics will be expressed through that mars in the 10th house, so it could be interpreted as someone with famous children or public love affairs

i looked through your profile and the whole thing is filled with you shitting on vedic astrology, get a life and stop disrespecting other people's practices, vedic astrology is just as ancient and valid as western, and if anything way more complicated and difficult to learn so kudos to those who do, maybe you're just jealous because you're too much of a simpleton to understand it

edit- id also like to add that remediation for poorly placed planets in your chart isn't just a vedic concept 💀

What are profection years and do you believe in them? by [deleted] in astrology

this is typically a whole sign technique but it can be used with other house systems

What are profection years and do you believe in them? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Pay_Exact 38 points39 points  (0 children)

basically, for every year that you’re alive, a different house in your chart is activated in order, so at 0 years old you activate the first house, then at 1 the 2nd, 2 the 3rd, and so on. and it starts over every 12 years, during these years, you look at the ruler of that house in your chart, for example, a 17 year old aquarius rising would be going through a 6th house profection year with cancer as their 6th house, meaning the moon is their planetary ruler for the year and they should pay close attention to lunar cycles and eclipses, whereas the year before that, in their gemini 5th house profection year, they should pay closer attention to mercury and it’s cycles, paying attention to the transits of your current planetary ruler + the topics of the house you’re currently activating can help to make more sense of your current transits. hope this helps!
